Insta360 X3 Standard Removable Lens Guards

Good quality, relatively easy install, watched a youtube video to install. So far no problems, looks to have no harsh glare from sun as others mentioned. Doesn’t seem to affect image quality either. Overall not bad for the price. I’d recommend it

I use these on my X3 attached to my R7. It has been great and I prefer this over the sticky lens.If you're anticipating that these won't scratch, yes they will. The point is to protect the real lens and that's exactly what they do. These are plastic and they will scratch with debris and drops. I dropped my X3 and unfortunately the back lens guard cracked but the lens itself was completely perfect.Keep in mind that these aren't sealed so you must remove them and clean them from time to time to get the dust out.Also do NOT forget to turn on lens guard in your camera settings. If you don't, you will have noticeable stitching issues.Once thing that makes NO SENSE is that Insta360, at the time of this review, does not make the Lens Guards sold separately or as a pack. Why do I need to purchase the whole Removable Lens Guards that come with the base if the lens are removable?! That's incredibly stupid. It should be a 1 time purchase and an option to buy just the lens.

It helps protect it like it should but the lens does slightly affect the video quality and it scratches pretty easily.

Good news: they work! Dropped it from maybe 4ish feet and saved my camera lens. Bad news: I dropped it the same day I put these on and have to buy another set.

Horrible. I bring my camera for snowboarding and paddleboarding; condensation ruined the footage. They are ultra cheap plastic, and can easily pick up scratches. I don't even bother using them after the 3rd time. So much for an "adventure camera".

These were a perfect replacement, they stuck on and I have been using them since. It’s nice to be able to take it off if you want a bit higher picture quality. It doesn’t affect it a ton but with the sun sometimes you get double lights.

The concept is great. However, there are several problems:1) The lens guard material is extremely soft and must be handled very delicately. Even with careful handling, on a 1 week off-road motorcycle I managed to scratch or pit 3 out of 4 lense guards. This seems to happen when storing the camera even when I wrap the camera and lenses in a protective microfiber cloth.2) The mounting ring and lens guard interface is not air or water proof. If you are operating in dusty conditions, dust will collect behind the lens guard. If operating in rain, water or condensation will collect behind the lens guard making the video unusable.That said, the fit is good and it is easy to take the lens guards off and on. I more durable material and some method to improve the seal on the lens would make them much more usable in sporting or adventure conditions.

My second lens cover I've tried with my x3. Should have went with these 1st.
