Does what I need!
I should preface by saying that I have never had an Apple Pencil so I don't know how this compares. However, for what I need, I love this little pencil! It attaches to the side of the iPad, where it also charges, so it keeps the two together. And it works for coloring apps that I like to use when I need to destress. It did take me a while to figure out how to add the battery widget, which automatically added itself on my iPad. I do appreciate having that icon to show me where the battery life is at.

Pen won’t charge and support is clueless
Pen worked great till it died. The pen will not charge. I have done multiple suggestions. Still nothing. When I asked the support on this. Your Rufus Ai suggest that I set up an appointment with apple. It’s not an Apple product. It’s a Benks. Your AI has no clue.If i could give a lower rating i would.

Stops charging.
I purchased this product in November 2024. It worked well as a cheaper alternative to the Apple Pencil. However after a couple months of use the product no longer chargers properly with my Ipad M4 11". I have tried changing direction of the pencil to ensure positioning was not the issue for charging. I would recommend another product to anyone looking into this alternative pencil.

Works great!
I picked this up as an alternative to the much more pricey Apple Pencil. This works just as good, as far as I can tell. If there is any functionality missing on this that the Apple Pencil does, I don't know what it would be. Great for taking notes and drawing on the iPad, and my daughter loves using it, too! Great deal compared to the price of an Apple Pencil!

best 3rd party pen so far
With the exception of the push button on the top, this pen responds just like the original pen for my ipad. There is a magnetic part of the pen that attaches to the ipad and charges it. That is one thing that the other third parties I tried did not have.Once I used this pen for a week or so, this became my go to device. To turn it on, it seems a bit fickle at times. So I just press and hold the button for 5 to 6 seconds and wait for the blue light. But once it is on, no pairing is needed.

I might like this better than the name brand one?
I have an Apple pen 2 for my iPad Pro, but just bought the iPad mini for work, so I thought I’d give this pen a try, instead of forking out twice as much for the name brand. It doesn’t disappoint! It draws just as well in Procreate. It charges the same way, via magnet. It’s just as sensitive. Writes easily and is comfortable to use. It comes with two extra nibs, which the name brand does not. And it has a button on the top for extra uses like backing out of a program. The button on the top also turns it on, to save battery life.My only quibble, is that the nibs are extremely easy to lose as they are loose in the box, so be careful when you open the box. Also you need to download a widget to see the battery life, but that’s not the end of the world. All in all this thing performs just like the other brand, perhaps better and feels just as sturdy and nice! A quality stylus!

Great value for an iPad stylus
I was looking for an Apple pencil alternative because I just wanted to try it out for my iPad Pro. For the most part I take handwritten notes and draw diagrams for my classes and this Benks stylus is a great option. It has the features that I appreciate like Palm rejection so the tablet will detect your palm while you're using the Benks stylus and ignore touches along with tilt sensitivity to draw thinner or thicker lines. The magnetic charging is a huge plus for me because I don't want to carry another cable around. It easily snaps on to the top of my iPad. You don't need to pair it with Bluetooth however if you want to see battery life you can pair it and this device will show up as Sky-Pen2. I had to turn the stylus off and on for it to detect on Bluetooth but after that it worked well. You also have to add the widget on your home screen to see the battery life for this stylus. I like how quickly it connected with my tablet, and the size of this is very ergonomic since it fits in my hand and doesn't take too much space on top of my iPad. It comes with two additional tips and the quality of this stylus seems durable but not bulky or heavy. This is a great value if you want a quality alternative to a factory stylus/pencil for your iPad.
