This is a really well made robot and not hard for a 9yr old to build alone. The instructions to build are easy to follow. The first words of my daughter after turning it on and seeing it work were “wow this is cool, really cool”, I agree with her and it seems that the app has some good features as well. The kit contents are very well organized with lots of extra screws.

This was a great gift for our 10 year old! He enjoyed building it along with playing in the app to code and create for his robotic machine. Hours and hours of fun! Highly recommend!

An easy first robot/programming experience. Built it with a group of children ages 7 to 14. Instructions clear, app clear and worked right away. Took about 3 hours total over 2 days from opening the box to having it move. Very worth the price.

UPDATE: Customer Support got back to me and are sending a new part. I have hope! The screws are tiny, and the pieces don't always fit together very well. I myself assembled it twice, and it still doesn't work. Reached out to customer support on Thames & Kosmos website, and have yet to hear back. Disappointing for sure.

My 10 year old put this together himself in about 6-7 hours. He loves it. Definitely a great product.

My son enjoys the robot. It was easy to build, though it needs parent supervision. It works with an app on his phone so he enjoys controlling it. I don't see the coding aspect though.

Once out together and connect to the app to control it and use all the various features/functions, the Bluetooth disconnects and you constantly have to reconnect. It was fun to put together but would not recommend.

My 7 year old grandson loved this! He was so excited and wanted to put it together as soon as he opened it. He and his dad assembled it and he played with it for hours. Good purchase.

Great product but the app isn’t available in Australia. If I’d known prior to purchasing I wouldn’t have bought it. Now I can’t get any replies from Thames & Kosmos support. They replied once to say they had to refer to another department, since then silence. And now too late to return it.
