Sculpting Curl Gel - 72-Hour Strong Hold, Crunch-Free & Flake-Free, Helps Tame Frizz

As someone in their late 20s who’s still figuring out the perfect product combo for managing their curly hair, I was excited to find this gel. I’d say my curl type is around 3A and I originally tried this product as a sample from my hair stylist. Other than smelling amazing (gotten multiple comments after I started regularly using it), it’s lightweight and gives me a light hold for my curls without feeling too heavy. The texture is pretty silkily, not a super sticky gel (I haven’t felt the need to mix in some water with it to thin it out). I’ve diffused my hair after using it a few times with good results. I’m a big fan and will be making this my go-to gel for the time being!

This is my favorite curl product! It holds a curl well. I have fine layered curly hair and I love the outcome of my hair when I use this product.

I usually use LUS brand products for my curly hair. I recently purchased the full line of Redkin for curly hair, as every now and then I like to switch my products up. I know Redkin is a great salon quality brand so I decided to give it a try. My hair is already very healthy and this is made to repair damaged curly hair. My hair however is colored treated, which is why I opted for the bonding over the curls so soft line. I’ve only used it twice so far and both times I find the gel to be of great quality. It isn’t I overly sticky but enough to create a good cast. It it lightweight and the scent of typical salon products ( I do prefer LUS gel scent but this isn’t bad) This helps my curls maintain shape and look great.

I'm liking this product for my wavy/curly short hair. It does leave it a bit crunchy though but once it's finger-combed out a bit it's good.

Redken makes great products and I’m sure this sculpting curl gel works perfect if you want your hair to STAY. I have very curly blonde hair & I want a much softer hold. This product is so heavy my hair wasn’t able to curl on its own at all. It dried just like it looked wet which is impressive if you want that - I live in Florida w humid sea breezes. The 2 stars is just because it didn’t suit my hair. It was packaged well etc Update - I learned to use a smaller amount & work it in by scrunching & now it works great & is my go to styler 😀

I bought this gel for my curly, frizzy, unruly hair. Unfortunately this didn’t do anything for me. My hair was frizzy and undefined. Would not recommend!
