Worked well for my 2008 Taurus X Limited.
The blower in my 2008 Ford Taurus X limited was pulsing continually between low and high when used for heat. Found out the existing blower motor resistor was faulty and when it got hot would cause the power going to the blower motor to fluctuate causing the fan to speed up and slow down. Was pleased to find the direct Motorcraft replacement part here on Amazon for way less than any of the auto parts stores. Part still came super fast even though it was shipped direct from the seller and not through prime. Installation was quite easy but for the Taurus X you’ll definitely want to invest in a mini ratchet wrench set as it’s pretty tight quartered where the 2 screws are that hold it in the duct system. (Behind the interior panel in the passenger footwell) Plugged the wire harness back in and it’s worked flawlessly ever since. As a Ford guy…I can’t stress enough how much better off you’ll be in the long run installing actual Motorcraft parts when things need fixing. I know they’re more money but it’s cheaper in the long run as many OEM replacement parts are made of inferior quality and don’t last as long. Would definitely recommend this product.

The fixer
What did I like about, It work like a charm. I am happy just like OEM. And it save me a lot of money. If I would have going to the dealer they would have charged me a lot of money.

Worked for 2008 Ford Expedition
Installed this OEM part in my 2008 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with automatic temperature controls. It fit perfectly and resolved the issue where the fan was stuck on high, even when I attempted to turn it off. Manual fan controls did not work either until after I installed this replacement part. When searching on the Internet, I saw conflicting information about the correct part number. Amazon also claimed this part does not fit the 2008 Ford Expedition, but thanks to another Amazon review for this part, I took the chance and everything worked out fine. This part was a perfect match to my original. Installation was not too hard, but getting to the back screw was a bit awkward. Dropping open the glove box made it much easier as I could see everything through the opening (squeeze in the back of the glove box sides to allow it to fall forward). Just push down on the small tab to pull off the cable connector, remove the defective part, then install the new part and original cable connector.

Says fordmoco bought it to fix my random cycling as blower speed. If your f150 does the cycling on off an speed try this it's easy to enough and cheap enough to install to fix this issue install time is about 15 or 30mins

Exact part. Wrong information. Do your homework.
My front AC went haywire (stuck on high) in my Expedition. I found several sites that told me there were other part numbers that fit my car. More than one seller on Amazon told me that. But the parts did not look right to me. I knew this because I had gone to a local Auto Parts store to buy what I needed. I had my Model and my VIN number with me. The part they sold me did not fit. It looked right but the connectors were too long. Took it back. Started over on the web since they would have to order one anyway. Because of this I had the factory original in my hand. The part was located behind the glove compartment in the dash and was a bit of a bear to reach. The seller on Amazon was Auto Parts Wholesale. Interestingly enough, when I put in my vehicle information (Brand, Year, Model and Trim), I was told that the part I am now reviewing DID NOT fit my vehicle. Well, I knew better. Why? I went to the Motorcraft website and looked up the part. Naturally, I was taken to my local dealer's site after entering my zip code (and it was the dealer from whom I purchased the vehicle). On their site I entered the VIN after entering the brand, year, model and trim. The part that came up was this one. Also, once I scrolled over the pic on Amazon's web page and enlarged it so I could see the details, the lettering on the part was precisely like the lettering on the part I was holding in my hand. There is a lesson here. Go to the manufacturer's page to get the correct part number so you are NOT misled by another seller's info. I realize that there are a lot of parts out there and it is a monumental task as a seller to get all of the info right but, that does not negate the risk of ordering the wrong part and then having to return it and start over. I would give the part a 5. I would give Auto Parts Wholesale a 5 for a price that was FAR MORE reasonable than a dealer's price. I would give them a 5 for timeliness in delivery. Overall, its a 4 because their stuff told me that this part would not fit my vehicle. Not only did it fit, it was the exact part that I needed.

Works like a Charm!
Part was an exact match for my 2012 Explorer! The part was easier to install than removing the kick panel:) 3 screws hold the kick panel in place two in the front one in the left rear. I assumed a clip held the left rear on . After I couldnt get it removed pulling on it for a good while I realized Hey there may be a screw holding it on. Took a deep dish 7mm 1/4 drive socket with an extension and was able to remove! Resistor was easy to remove and replace. Now the fan works as it should!

Would recommend for those with same issue
Not sure why the title says “shifter bushing”. This is in fact a YH1827 blower control module. I installed it in my 2011 Ford F-150 FX4 and it fixed the fan speed being stuck on high. Would recommend for those with same issue.
