Installed couple weeks ago. I just notice the fan is not working. Is there a switch

There is a thermostatically controlled switch inside of the box. All you have to do is plug it in and build a fire, once the temperature gets high enough it should kick on automatically. If you start noticing a rattling sound after a while, there is an allen screw that holds the blade on the shaft of the motor. You can remove the side panel and tighten it up. I had to do that to mine.

will this unit work on a gas 6 inch furnace exhaust?

I do not know, I would not use it if it were me. Please call manufacturer to get your answer.

Do you think it will work on a oil drip furnace by nestor martin?

As long as the pipe size is the same on the oil stove and it burns clean, I believe it would be fine to use. Keep in mind there isn't a way to access the inside of the heat reclaimer to clean build-up except through the stove pipe so you might want to use a section of telescoping pipe to make it easier on yourself.
