Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had a triple lumbar back fusion and needed to ice my back 3-4 times a day. I tried several types of devices but this one was the winner by a long shot. It stayed cold for will over an hour. The best part is the cold pack fits right in the pouch and you Velcro it around your waist. Th pouch absorbs all the condensation on the inside so no wetness on your skin or clothes. Came with two ice packs which I would keep in the freezer. Excellent product for me. Would buy again.

I'm so glad I found this. I've been dealing with severe back and nerve pain for almost two years. I've been using ice packs and always wind up having to be tethered to wherever I was sitting but with this, I can move around and still reap the benefits of ice therapy. I put both packs in at a time and can usually get about 2 hours of consistent chill out of it. The band has a good grip so no worries about it falling off and can be thrown in the wash without a problem (just make sure you put it in a small delicate washables bag so it doesn't adhere to other articles of clothing).

Love this for icing my back. The size is adequate but not huge. I have trouble spots in my back and my right hip. The Velcro strap works great to be able to position the ice where you want it and the Velcro keeps it in place. Having two ice packs is also a plus since you can use one for 20 minutes and then install the second one to bet a long icing.

My husband used this after lumbar surgery, and I'm so glad we discovered it beforehand. The harness is flexible and comfortable, and the included ice packs fit securely, allowing him to stay mobile during cold therapy. We appreciated that they froze back quickly, and it was great to have two to rotate. However, surgery patients should be cautious: the dual-purpose hot/cold packs only stay cold for about 15 minutes. If not removed promptly, they absorb body heat and become surprisingly warm—not ideal for post-op use. We switched to a different brand of "cold-only" packs, which stayed cold longer and didn't heat up, but they didn’t fit the pouch as well. Just something to be aware of.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love the fact it has a belt extension! I'm a big girl, and suffering from back issues/injury. I needed something a bit bigger than the average person size and this was perfect. Plus, it comes with 2 hot/cold packs! You can keep them both cold and switch out when one is no longer cold, or one for heat and one for cold. It's comfortable, flexible, and not irritating to my skin like plastic ones. Definitely would buy again!

My wife injured her lower back and so I bought this to help her. We're about 5 days in and she loves it. She said "This is the best thing you've ever bought for me.". I said "Better than your wedding ring?". She said "not quite as good as that, but close". 😂😂

Love this! I have a pinched nerve in my lower back. Doctor said keep my back iced. I was using ziploc bags with ice in them, and they leaked everywhere. This is very comfortable and neat. They come with 2 ice packs to be able to wear one while the other is in the freezer.

Very pleased with this ice pack. Comfortable and stays in place. Quite large and can be used on various parts of the body. Stays VERY cold for a long time. I haven't used it for heat but it's reasonable to believe it will perform equally well. I'm getting one for my wife. Also, it comes with two gel packs.
