Water resistant, not waterproof. Still baloons while trailering even with the towing straps. The material underneath also ripped even with me covering the sharp parts with cardboard. All in all its an okay boat cover, but i do wish i splurged and bought a better one.

Good quality material that is definitely waterproof, but the elastic that is supposed to keep the cover tight to the boat is so loose it was useless to use on my 14’ x 55” tin boat at the dock which what I wanted to use it for. Maybe a drawstring apparatus would be better. But if you are using for trailering the boat the straps look strong and well-positioned and will work well.

I think these work just fine. They seem to be sturdy for my jeep. If you make sure they’re pressed tight together from top to bottom it’s pretty sturdy. As long as you’re gentle with it and you’re using it with something that’s not too crazy heavy or moves around a lot you should be fine.

The reviews here include both the ABS plastic versions and the Aluminum versions. The ABS get generally poor reviews. The aluminum ones are excellent and get much better reviews. So look at the “version” in the reviews to make a proper assessment.
