I got this for myself & my 9-year old son to play together as a "Jenga" type of game & it's fun! The blocks are cute & well made with rounded, smooth edges...there are no sharp spots on them anywhere that I've found! The blocks nicely painted & had no "chemical" paint smell to them whatsoever when I opened up the package. They seem like quality blocks & are very durable to last through years of play.I like that they included a few extra, "different" shaped blocks as well to make the set a bit more interesting & which adds multiple game possibilities to the set. You can use the dice or the included "cards" to choose your blocks, & you can use the other side of the cards as suggestions for making different, challenging "towers" of blocks for fun, or to compete with one another as a game making the different tower variations.I think these blocks are a fun game for most any age children to play with really, & it's fun for a family or siblings to play it together. Even a toddler can enjoy stacking the different blocks & you can make it a bit of a "learning/thinking" game for a toddler by having them choose cards to figure out which block they should stack net, or you can play it as a "Jenga" sort of game with them or any aged child (although playing a "Jenga" type of game with these blocks does require dexterity/skill with careful hands which is easier for older kids to do than toddlers.) But the blocks are still fun for toddlers to play with & stack, and to help them learn using more dexterity with their hands.And it's of course fun for older kids & adults to play a "Jenga" type of game with these & you can make your own variations/rules to play by! (It doesn't really come with any set of "rules" to follow, which was just fine by us!) :)The box the blocks come in is sturdy enough to be re-used (although you have to fit the blocks back inside it neatly & almost perfectly for the box to completely close shut nicely) so you may wish to store these blocks in a larger container if you want your child to be able to just toss them back into a container easily when done playing with them.It's a nice quality & cute gift idea for a variety of ages & it's really a game that can be played together as a family or with friends, which makes it a nice addition to any home game collection or given as a gift! It's even a cute baby shower gift with its pastel colors to give to someone to hold onto it until their new baby is a toddler, & it's something that can last their child for years.I would keep any eye on a toddler playing with these blocks though (if they're prone to chewing on them) just so they don't wind up scratching off the paint into their mouths eventually, which even with safe, water-based, & non-toxic paint, you still probably wouldn't want your child ingesting a lot of it if they're left unsupervised playing with these for too long & are a real toy chewer.

My daughter loves them! They are similar to a popular block game, but they also have cute animal shapes on them and cards that suggest different patterns you can challenge yourself to build. She can entertain herself for quite awhile with them! They are pretty solid wood with different color paints. They're a good size for her little hands and the patterns are a challenge but not too hard.

The painting and quality is good, and this makes a nice gift. You can either play this like a game or just free build towers with the extra shaped pieces.

Ordered this stacking toy with the intention of giving it to one of kids in my family but now that it's arrived I have to keep it for myself (which means I'll have to order another set). It's just too adorable and even though this is supposed to be suitable for 4-8 year olds it's actually a game that adults can play as well. In fact the last time I saw one of these toys was in a game room in a hotel - granted it was a bigger, plain wood version without all the colors and painted animal faces - it was keeping a bunch of 20-30 year olds entertained. This set is very well made, the pieces are solid wood, smooth with slightly rounded edges and the whole box is actually quite weighty. When the tower is stacked the pieces glide well and can be pulled through pretty easily without getting stuck. I've always liked the plain wood version but it is actually more fun with the painted animal faces on the ends. It comes with a set of cards as well as some extra pieces which are not part of the tumble tower but can be stacked in other creative ways. Anyway highly recommend this toy for people of all ages. It comes in a printed box with pictures of the contents so will make a nice gift.

My son (3) and I have had so much fun with this game. Extremely high quality and colorful with cute animals on each brick.There are a few games to play using this set: Jenga style but matching the dice animal to removing a brick of the same animal; building a structure matching the card or Jenga using the cards instead of the dice. Also these are just fun to build with similar to building blocks.They are painted compared to the usual plain wood Jenga that do not slide as easily, so setting up the tower takes a bit longer in my experience. Especially with an antsy toddler getting involved. That and I was layering the bricks by color/animal which additional time, but then realized it's more fun to just build randomly with no order.Best of all this is great for young minds to practice duplicating the structures shown on the cards. I am impressed how quickly my son caught on, but he really loves building with blocks, magnets and Legos so he has some practice.Overall a very adorable, fun game no matter how you play. My only negative is that these are a huge pain to fit back in the box. I think a drawstring bag would have been better to save time.After a couple of times getting everything to fit, I used a makeup drawstring bag I hadn't used (and have an abundance of thanks to my monthly makeup subscription I had) which works a lot better to contain everything without hassle.

These are great! They work both with younger kids and older kids. Young kids love stacking and building so it will keep their attention them for a while and will help build motor skills. The design is also great to catch the eye of younger kids, but I have also seen that older kids enjoy this just as much. This is also great for family night and games. My family loves playing this. It’s a lot of fun for everyone.
