Q: I have an older hot rod deville, would this work?

not sure when my Hotrod Deville was made but i bought it used at a pawn shop in about 2001 ( so i imagine its a bit older than that ) it works fine on mine- also i bought this under advisement from a reputable amp repair shop here in atlanta that was doing some work on mine- he just told me what to get from amazon and it works great!
