As someone who is constantly on the move and relies heavily on her workout sneakers, I recently tried Y'allCanDiy Shoe Glue to repair a separated sole. Have used this glue on multiple pairs of shoes, sandals and winter boots. The glue did a great job sealing areas that came undone. Even reglued a sole that completely came off

Good glue, but use it all after initially opening. Tried using it again 2 months later and it was like rubber.

I ordered the Y’all Can DIY Shoe Glue based on the same company’s blue thread locker that I had previously purchased. The thread locker is great, and at an outstanding value; however, this shoe glue…not so much. I ordered this shoe glue as a next day delivery, but it arrived 3.5 days later. I’m so glad it did because I went to a store and just bought my time tested and true Shoe Goo. When I finally received this Y’all Can DIY Shoe Glue, I noted a large crack in the cap and was unsure if there was a safety seal that kept it from leaking out, but there wasn’t. Fortunately, nothing leaked and the glue is still liquid. What I found out was that this glue is nothing more than just regular superglue with a few optional applicator tips. I have used superglue in the past on shoes, and while it will work, it will only work temporarily. The problem is that superglue (cyanoacrylate, or CA glue) dries hard and has no flexibility once it is dry. Again this is a very temporary quick fix, but it is not a permanent fix by all means. Because the product came later than it was supposed to and I had already fixed my shoe, I returned it. I did have higher hopes for this product, as I absolutely love their thread locker, but I’m not paying >$8.00 for a small bottle of superglue.

EDIT: I let these shoes sit for two days after glueing the souls onto one of them that was flapping. I went to the dog park today and walked through some wet mud and the bottom of my shoes almost completely came off. When I got out of the car and stepped down, the Vibram soles were falling off. Needless to say, I am returning this product. REBIEW JUST AFTER GLUING: Exactly what I was looking for, for a shoe sole that came loose. The product comes with so many applicator tips which I guess is a good thing. If you have to keep cutting down the end of the applicator tip as time goes by. Or if you are gluing very tiny tiny areas. But I just use the applicator tip connected to the bottle. Glued almost instantly, yay!

It works for a while. It is a one time use. I tried to use it again 2 months later. All the caps and tips were dryer up and hard. It is cheap, so not a big deal.
