This would be good in theory but upon practice it’s incredibly confusing. The language used in the descriptions are really not friendly at all. It’s incredibly confusing on how to actually do this procedure. This is an expensive at home test in my opinion for a very inaccurate test, but I suppose it would Be less stressful than going to the Clinic personally I think it could do better

You can get tests by post from the NHS.. if you live in an area where the local commissioners have paid for the service. If you're not in one of those areas, this might or might not be a good alternative to visiting a clinic for a test. One reason for that is because although men and women need different swabs - the former to put in the urethra, the other to swab the cervix - only the latter swab is supplied with this kit. Putting non-sterile things in there is not great, so where are men supposed to get a swab from? The language on the leaflet is also not friendly to everyone. Do you know where the squamocolumnar junction is on a woman's body? Once you've got a swab, the kit needs you to add two different reagents and do some manipulation before, eventually, some sort of result is shown (positive / negative / test failed / you haven't waited long enough yet). It's not particularly accurate: the reported comparison with the definitive test reckons it will miss around 5% of infections, and give a false positive in around 3% of cases.

This kit is a great find. come across it on Amazon. never expected to see one. however it works a treat. very accurate and discrete
