Big Joe Lenox Foam Filled Bean Bag Chair, Extra Large, Fog

I love this bean bag ! It’s my favorite place to curl up or lay down and read . Super cozy and comfortable . I am 4’8” and can lay down from end to end with room to spare . I just give it a turn when I need to reposition myself and it fluffs back up. It is quite heavy but that is to be expected because of the size .

As far as quality goes, it's exactly what it says on the box. It's a giant bag filled with memory foam chunks. The fabric itself is soft and high quality. I've had no problems with tearing or deforming. I'm 5'6" and it is plenty big enough for me to lay in. I've fallen asleep in it more times than I care to admit!Two things to be aware of:1) You need to "re-fluff" the bag occasionally. Just some kicks and rolls around is plenty to have it in prime condition for laying in again.2) It gets HOT. This is fantastic in the winter, but that's about it. The overheating makes it difficult to do long gaming sessions in it at times.Neither of the two things mentioned above are the manufacturer's fault. Both "complaints" are related to memory foam. It's not Big Joe's fault that memory foam flattens over time or gets hot, so I don't see any need to remove stars because of it. It's not like Big Joe hides the fact that it's filled with memory foam.Overall I love this thing. I find it difficult to recommend because of how hot the memory foam can get, but I'm not here to review memory foam. The quality of this product is fantastic, and that is why it earns 5 stars from me.

When the bag arrived it was tightly packed in box and when we opened it it was not fluffy at all. We figured we needed to give it some time to fluff up because it was in the box. We immediately noticed a very strong chemical order and also figured maybe that would dissipate once it was unpacked. Unfortunately no luck! The filling is lumpy and uncomfortable... there is still an awful chemical odor and the bag never got fluffy and seems only half full ... very disappointed and plan to return... completely annoyed that I have to pay shipping ...

Really cozy — but it does require regular “fuffing.” After about 30-45 minutes in it, it will sink pretty low where the most weight has compressed it and thus you have to get up and toss, punch, and kick it. It fluffs back up nicely and when you sit or lie back down it’s like falling into a cloud. Sure it’s a little lumpy feeling if you run your hand over it, but your butt and back really can’t tell the difference. I am most likely going to purchase more foam or add foam from old memory foam pillows that I wash and shred. I look forward to countless evenings of playing Animal Crossing, snuggled up in my “nest” as my husband and I have dubbed it (I am 34 and living my best life).

This review would be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for what happens after having it for 60 days. I bought this in late July and it was amazing up until the first week of October. The foam has now on one half side of it smooshed to the point where only a portion of it still poofs up. So if you sit on that side it will sink you to the ground. And I have tried flipping it and moving the foam around, but there always seems to be one side that when you sit you sink straight to the floor. It is hard to tell from the picture, but I would of liked to even exchange it to give it another try. Maybe I just got a bummed one, but it looks like you can’t even do that after 30 days. So based off of that and the item being well over $100.00 I would not recommend buying it.

This is the third one of these I've bought and I don't know what happened but it's TERRIBLE compared to my other two. We gave it 72 hours to expand and it's still only half the height of the others. If you sit on it you go straight to the floor. I bought one back in August that is filled with a totally different, much stiffer foam. The lack of consistency between all three is absolutely nuts. We had purchased this most recent one to replace the one we bought in 2017 and at this rate we're just going to use it to add foam to that one since I don't even know how we'd ship it back. Really glad I paid $180 for essentially a bag of low quality replacement foam.

I bought the XL size and am very satisfied. It's very comfy and the perfect size for two people. I was shipped two bean bags by accident (an error when getting a replacement), so the picture includes my bean bag and the second one still in its box.

It is so comfy and big. Just what I wanted..... except for the stench. The rating where it says “stretch” would be corrected to “stench” I read some reviews that said the same- it has a super weird odor that isn’t going away. I put a blanket over it because I can’t stand the smell anymore. Fabreeze and essential oils don’t even get rid of it.If it was uncomfortable, I would be returning it because of the smell. I’ve had it for a couple weeks and hoped the smell would go away or lighten... it hasn’t.Such a bummer to pay this much for a product you continue to try and mask the smell with no relief. please fix the stench big Joe. It is such a let down 😕

Big joe xl is definitely big . Unless you have a big room get a smaller one. Mine fluffed up in an hour unlike the 7 days as noted. I have a technique though . I wish the fabric was a little shinier , the brushed cotton feel attracts lint and hair like crazy. But comfortable its unreal it perfectly supports your shape. Fluff it every time just roll it and give it a kick . The bag stands 3.5 feet tall when fluffed . 5.5 feet long ( widens a bit when its squashed . And 4.5 feet wide . It is definitely full, no room for more inch and a half nuggets of foam inside. Works perfect for reading or texting in. Supports your arms at a perfect position to read with. I havent had time to sleep on it but it feels like unless you keep your wits about you , you will drift off. The teens end up hogging it and cuddling on it , as irritating as that is,it keeps them out of my chair.

I ordered the X-Large size. It says it is 36-48-72, but it is actually 30-48-60... 12 inches difference is pretty important... so be aware of this. Description is NOT accurate. Quite disappointed for that.
