The math is really simple. Individually, these tests cost 8 dollars. There are ten of them in the book. So at this book's list price, you're getting more than half off for buying in bulk. On sale, it's about 75% off the individual price.Buying jumbo size makes sense here, because the typical LSAT student needs to do many LSAT tests in order to fully prepare. I give each of my LSAT students in San Francisco (my company is called Fox Test Prep) between 7 and 21 real LSATs, and students frequently do more tests outside of class. The ten in this book are all very recent, real LSAT tests. There are no better questions to study than these, and ten tests worth is certainly not too many.Even if you're just focused on one section of the test, this is still a great buy. For example, if you're strong in the verbal sections but are weak in games, you could buy this book and just do the games (there are 40 of them) and you're still getting a bargain.If you're self-studying, you should consider buying TWO of these books--one for you, and one for your study partner. (If you're self-studying, you NEED a study partner.) You and your partner could each do one of these tests, timed, 35 minutes per section, and then you should meet to discuss your results. Work through the games together. Debate the Logical Reasoning questions. It doesn't matter if you're at the same level or not. If your partner is scoring significantly lower than you are, you'll still learn a lot--maybe more than he'll learn!--through teaching him.You don't get many deals when you're on the LSAT/Law School path, but this is a really great one. Contact me if I can help! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Study Tool I Had *by L***H on December 29, 2013* I spent months preparing for the LSAT, and without that preparation, this book would have not helped me achieve the score I made. I was able to score within the 88th percentile and this book was a large part of the reason why. I purchased this book about a month before the test and I spent every weekend and every spare 3 hours taking as many practice tests as possible under as close to actual testing conditions. Although I used other review books and practice materials from Princeton Review and I would recommend them, sitting down and taking 8 or 9 actual past tests was the most helpful thing that I was able to do to prepare. When it comes down to it, unless you spend months to hone your skills, you either know how to do the games and the logic questions or you do not. In my case, I found time management to be the real key to the test. After taking 9 tests over the course of a month, I was able to reasonably judge how log I could look over a game, or how long i could think about an assumption question. This helps to provide a grasp of how long you have to work a problem, which was the biggest help to me on test day. I was confident on my time management, and I had a clear head to focus on the problems at hand and not worry about the clock. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything I asked for *by H***R on October 19, 2013* 10 of the more recent LSAT practice exams minus the experimental as advertised. Preptests 52-61. Some have argued that these later prep-tests are actually harder than the earlier ones. I don't know if I agree with that. Some of the questions are slightly different and the older tests seem to have a lot more assumption questions and a few of the games have been tweaked a bit. But its nothing major and all good practice.One thing I do think that changed was the LSAT grading curve. For instance what qualified as a 165 on some of the earlier prep tests is now a 162 or 163. So they are grading a bit harder for whatever reason.All in all these should be included amongst your prep materials for the LSAT. Can never have enough practice tests IMO.
