It can be used safely in all climate conditions. The unique grill design enables ventilation in extremely hot weather, while helping remove moisture from the bee hive at the very cold temperatures. Balancing the moisture inside the hive results in maturing the honey sooner, thus increasing the hive productivity and honey yield. The bottom board is equipped with an integrated pollen trap which is specially designed to prevent bee injuries while collecting the pollen. A built in pollen tray enables collecting the pollen hygienically. It is also equipped with a large drawer under the screen bottom board which can be used for sealing in the winter, also for Varroa check. The bee hive entrance holes can be opened or closed very easily by with sliding pieces. The entrance can also be width-adjusted based on the climate. The air channels built into the board prevents bee losses during transportation. The folding landing board with a locking mechanism also provides piece of mind. The boards are built tough against impacts and are durable. They are easy to clean, and they are compatible with your hive! Review: SCAM - I ordered this for 465 AED now it doubled the price. It says it has 10 packs when in fact there was only 1?! Don’t buy this! Review: Amazing - I purchased this because I needed some bottom boards, the wood ones were aging. I like screened bottom boards. I put these in as directed and after installing a new hive after a split I went back to check in 10 days to see how they were doing, and I pulled out the tray to increase ventilation since it’s getting warm out and it was full of pollen. I’d never collected pollen before, these are amazing. I know people like plastic less than wood but my wood frames, etc. do get old and I keep them painted and dry but you know how it goes. I think these plastic ones are relatively durable.. ## Features - Premium screened bottom board with built in pollen trap and drawer. Very easy to collect your local pollen from the back of the hive - Features ventilation channels to prevent moisture buildup inside the hive at very cold weather, and helps cooling in extremely hot weather - No rotting problems again! Made from durable food grade plastic - Pollen trap can be removed for full screen bottom - Suitable for Langstroth 10 frame wooden beehives in US ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07GTR7B2M | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (160) | | Date First Available | 3 Sept. 2018 | | Guaranteed software updates until | unknown | | Item model number | Bottom Board G | | Manufacturer | Apimaye | | Material type | plastic | | Package Dimensions | 55.88 x 50.8 x 22.86 cm; 7.17 kg | | Part number | Bottom Board G | ## Images ![Apimaye Premium Screened Bottom Board with Built in Pollen Trap and Pollen Drawer, Entrance Reducers and Ventilation System for Moisture Control Multipack (2) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71WDt6FA29L.jpg) ![Apimaye Premium Screened Bottom Board with Built in Pollen Trap and Pollen Drawer, Entrance Reducers and Ventilation System for Moisture Control Multipack (2) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71uN0WgheCL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Item Package Quantity** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ SCAM *by A***R on 19 March 2023* I ordered this for 465 AED now it doubled the price. It has everything you could want and our bees seem to really like it. Makes it super easy to collect pollen, properly vent the hive, and reduce the entrance without disturbing the girls and changing what the front of their hive looks like. The seller got this to us a full day or 2 quicker than quoted, which was necessary since we were picking up our bees after an unexpected death of our last hive. Think the park spray pesticides and they were poisoned. Anyway, great service and we are extremely happy with the board. ## Frequently Bought Together - Apimaye Premium Screened Bottom Board with Built in Pollen Trap and Pollen Drawer, Entrance Reducers and Ventilation System for Moisture Control Multipack (2) - KINGLAKE Beekeepers Polished Stainless Steel Hive Scraper Tool Beekeeping Equipment Tool Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/625658563-apimaye-premium-screened-bottom-board-with-built-in-pollen-trap](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/625658563-apimaye-premium-screened-bottom-board-with-built-in-pollen-trap) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
