They work effectively
They work, how they effect sound quality I have been unable to determine.

Good banana plugs.
Overall nice construction and easy to attach to the wire. Good for the price.

Very Nice With One Warning
These are very nice banana plugs that are well made and provide a secure connection from the speaker wire to the banana jacks. There are double screws on the jack to hold the wire very securely. The only warning is that the aluminum housing unscrews to the front of the jack, so you have to turn the housing or the jack clockwise to unscrew it. It will unscrew very easily, so if you are struggling, you are probably turning it the wrong way (the normal counter-clockwise turn).

Nice overall, but...
Overall these aren't bad. The inner component is all brass, and the cover is grey anodized aluminum that simply screws over the inner component. The inner component is a bit unique, as the speaker wire slides inside the end and it has not one, but two screws on the exterior that screw in to secure said speaker wire. It also has the unique ability to say strip the speaker wire only 1/4", push it into the connector, screw the first internal screw into the wire, and the upper one can be screwed into the wire sheathing to act more as an anchor/strain relief. I think this works very nicely, but my main complaint with these is the way the exterior aluminum shell is manufactured. The end where the wire comes out is simply open with sharp edges, so there's zero speaker wire protection and it actually just looks a bit odd to see a 12AWG wire sticking out of a gaping hole. Aside from that they look nice, and they work fine. The included screw driver is pretty wimpy, I ended up using an adult screw driver to make the process much easier.

Excellent quality, fit tightly
I really like the two set screw design. Makes for a nice, easy connection that should be solid, all the way from using 12 ga to 18 ga wiring.I had used some cheaper versions with plastic caps and a single set screw in the past. I never felt comfortable using them. These are well made and have a nice solid metal screw-on shield. They will last very well. Great price for 4 sets, and I appreciated the inclusion of a little screwdriver.I should also note that the covers screw on from the bottom, AFTER you have installed the wires. So you don't have to worry about forgetting to put the cover on the cable before connecting the wire. You connect the wires with the 2 screws on the post and THEN put the cover on from the bottom. Excellent design.

Banana Plugs
I like these banana plugs. To install the wire you need to unscrew the banana plug (gold colored) from the body (gray colored), once unscrewed you will need to push the banana plug through the housing. With the banana plug separate you can use the included flat head screw driver to loosen set screws and install wires. Once the wires are set, you can reinstall into the body and screw the body to the banana plug. Easy peasy. I like this style vs other styles where the wire connection was made by the wire contacting a flanged opening and compressing between the body and the banana plug. The banana plug springs are nice and snug in the receiving end of my speaker. Nice quality.

Excellent quality!
These are excellent quality banana plugs for quick connect / disconnect between your receiver and speakers. I tried them with the 12 gauge speaker wire I use, and the plugs accepted them very easily (see photo). I like the “two-set-screw” design that these plugs use over single set screw designs. There aren’t any faults with the banana plugs. The only slight criticism is that the 2mm screwdriver that they supply makes for good intentions, but it’s really too small for the set screws on these. I used a 3mm instead, which many people likely have if they have a set of cheap jeweler’s screwdrivers. The supplied one will work in a pinch.I would recommend these to a friend!

Nicely finished. Accommodates thicker, speaker wire.
These are well-made plugs, the finish is very nice, and they hold the wire tight. It was a little tricky at first because you have to unscrew the cap the opposite direction that we’re used to, but that’s fine, it works. The cap has a larger opening, which is great for Thicker cable. Often for church installations I have to run speaker cable under the stage and I like to use outdoor speaker wire with a thick protective cover. These plugs can accommodate that.
