Works great for meat on the grill, however, it is not calibrated correctly to use as a rectal thermometer.

The digital features are nice, it just turns off automatically.

this thermometer is accurate, easy to read, and long enough to check the temps in my 5 gallon buckets. I recommend it to fellow DWC

The thermometers original battery was dead when I received it, but I easily found a replacement at Walmart for a few dollars. Once I replaced the battery it worked great. I use it for my aquarium so the long stem makes using it simple and easy.

Loved this to start with, but after a month or so it inconsistently reads low, anywhere from about 3-7 degreesF. For the price I was hopeful it would hold accuracy longer. I used to stock these in our corporate lab, but can’t afford to restock every month.
