Works great
I used it to replace one of my Johnson spx pumps in my boat. It’s much quieter and it was very easy to install. Plus you gotta the price. Good pump! When my others fail I’ll buy more of these.

Wouldn't Lift water Two Feet
Maybe I had a dud, but it wouldn't lift water 24" (maybe only 18") for my baitwell. It did lift it about 10" from a bucket when I tested it. My 10+ year old Flo Jet raw water pump lifts it just fine when connected to the same suction line. When I filled the baitwell via other methods and turned this pump on, it blew a bubbles out the outlet. I was on my last day for returns so I could not trouble shoot it any further (I need to boat in the water to test), but I suspect is was sucking air through the housing somewhere. I returned it an got a Johnson pump. The Johnson (5.2) works just fine.

Replaced a broken pump
It was easy to install, makes a little less noise than the original. Oh.. and it works!
