Great defensive tool, when used correctly
This is a neat tool that I am very impressed with, especially at the price point that it's at!First off, I want to explain my ratings on this. This is NOT A STUN GUN! Don't think that this is going to knock someone down like a taser. It's not designed for that. I have not tested it on anybody, but I did watch a number of Youtube videos on this pen and watched some people test it on each other. It doesn't stun, but it hurts! Also, I am not a self-defense expert. I am going off of my limited training and experiences. That being said, here are my observations on the positive. This little thing crackles and it crackles LOUD! In a situation where you would need to deploy this, that crackle alone is going to get an assailants attention. When it crackles, if you don't see it, you'll think it's a stun gun.Another positive is that it's rechargeable with a battery indicator on the side. One thing that I really didn't like about the design is the built in flashlight. Don't get me wrong, the flashlight is a nice feature, but it's an extra step that could mean the difference in a situation where you need to use this. In order to deploy the pen, you have to switch on the switch on the back. That gives power to the device. Now here's my concern: you have to switch another switch to select between the flashlight and the taser. This is where I see a potential breakdown. I can see a situation where you need to deploy this in self defense, and end up shining a flashlight on them instead. That being said, I would recommend keeping this in the taser configuration. It would be preferable to startle yourself with a crackle while trying to flash a light on something rather than trying to defend yourself and shine a light on an attacker.Overall, it's a nice tool with those few concerns. I haven't tested it, but I think it will definitely make somebody reconsider their actions if you hit them with it. You won't knock them down, but it will hurt. Also, that crackle is scary!!I would recommend.

Certainly makes an attention getting snap.
I used to have a much larger zapper that I carried when I did a lot of bike riding. I never had to actually touch it to anything, but a few times I did have problems with loose dogs charging at me when riding by. That loud repeated snapping sound gets their attention and halt them in their tracks. This little guy certainly makes the same high voltage snap, snap, snap.It is relatively small and is just barely bigger than an ink pen. It charges from a USB-C port on the end and has a short charging cable included you can use with your phone charger. It has a series of blue leds on the side to show the battery charge level. There is a selector switch on the side to select a small led light or the zapper to come on when a momentary push button is pushed. It does not come with a manual but operation is pretty basic. But, I did initially think I had a defective device until I found another tiny slide switch on the end where the charging port is. Is is black on black and only about a eight of an inch square so I missed its existence until I had it in a bright light. With this switch in the off position it will charge but the operate buttons are not active. Switch it on and the light/zapper selector and operate button activate. The led light is not bright but useful of getting your keys out or seeing where you are walking. It does fit in a shirt pocket with the clip. Just make sure it is off...A serious tiny zapper. Recommended.

Sounds like it packs a punch!
I love how it's rechargeable and skinny to get away with it being a real pen. Plenty of safe guards to ensure I don't charge my pocket. When I press to test it, sounds like it zaps just like what the pros use.

Loud!
This mini pen taser seems to pack a punch. It emits a very loud noise when turned on, and i'd hate to be the person on the receiving end of it. This should be a major deterrent, and is perfect for dog walkers to keep in their treat pouch for safety from potential threats and even other animals attacking your dog. I would recommend it.

Very nice concealed stun pen. Easy to access & use.
Have tried this in both purse and pocket and it's pretty identifiable even with other pens in the purse. No, I have not had the courage nor desire to test on myself nor anyone else in my household to see how well it works.
