I chose this rack because it was one of the few reasonably priced lockable racks. The rack itself looks and feels pretty good. However, the bolts that secure the rack to the Grand Cherokee WL's flush roof rails are annoyingly difficult to reach. It's hard to explain but the the crossbars themselves make it very difficult to reach the bolts to tighten them. It's doable but takes awhile and is pretty frustrating. Would be fine if you were going to install and leave the rack on for extended periods of time but I was intending on taking them on/off pretty regularly. Will probably need to send them back unfortunately.

Though still dismayed that you spend a bucket of money on a new car and the roof rack isn't included. Well the rails were included, but the cross bars were not.I don't haul a lot on the roof, but I like to have the option for a luggage carrier; which gives more interior room when traveling.These cross bars were easy to install, the hardest part is that I am short, so I had to open the doors land hang off the side of the car. I tried a step ladder, but it leaned to the side. and I was afraid it would scratch the car.Easy to install, just follow the directions and put the bars together before trying to attach to the car. leave the bolts loose so they are easy to adjust. Once you have them bolted to the roof rails, then tighten the screws and install the lock and you are done.Some made mention of the added noise, I have not noticed it, but I don't have a sunroof, but I still installed the crossbars further back, thus the driver doesn't hear as much of the noise as I think I would have heard if they were further forward.Easy to install, affordable, does the job, now much more that can be said.

These rails fit and lock nicely. Very easy to install.
