Drawing Men's Hips JP Oversized – Large Print, January 1, 2013

Never thought I'd find a book about such a niche thing. I love looking at it for inspo and it also has good tips and techniques for creating simple guidelines. It mostly covers slim people but I pair it my other Morpho drawing books for more diverse body shapes. Amazing resource for any aspiring artist!

Really great reference for a part of the male anatomy that is often only sketched in tentatively or inaccurately portrayed. If you aren't comfortable looking up photo reference of the male...undercarriage...this is the next best thing. The figures shown are semi-realistic leaning toward typical "yaoi" style proportions.Text is in Japanese, of course, and there's quite a bit of it. Plenty of illustrations though and it doesn't take a lot of thought to understand the points being made. By American standards some might find this book a bit explicit - just a heads-up if you are thinking "hips" in the English sense of the word.

I really liked the details of how to draw the hips and the detailed clothing creases. These are a few issues I have when I draw my manga characters and I found this book extremely helpful! I strongly recommend it for anyone that draws.

Very helpful guide devoted to a single part of the anatomy. Even though I cannot read Japanese, I can follow the illustrations and make sense of them. I believe this would make a good addition to anyone's (newbies or pros) arsenal of "how to" books.

Great examples of how to draw a man's hip, legs, and groin from all different angles. It's very common to find how to draw female hips/groins/legs but to find one about men is helpful. It shows with jeans and without.

I can't read a thing it says but it's still an amazing reference book! It's a lot gayer than I expected, but that's not a bad thing.

I wish it had more pages of references. The book seems to have very few pages.

じっくり直視出来ない(したくない？)男性のおしりを 骨格や筋肉から描いていたり、色んな角度から描いてくれています。前についてるアレとの位置関係も載っています。 (描いています)裸のお尻と着ているお尻もあります。少年 青年 大人 の描き分けなどもあります。お尻だけじゃなくて、全身やほぼ全身も描いています。作者が、 なかなか恥ずかしくて直視できないよね、でも恥らわずしっかり見てかわいくカッコよく描こうね！って恥らう私たちを全力で応援してくれて愛を頂けます。

タイトル通りです。おおまかな構造については理解してても線画を描く際に迷うことが多かったため参考になりました。またお尻と隣接する腰から背中の構造についても触れられてます。解説もユーモアがあって親しみやすい一冊だと思います。

酸素足りなくなるくらい笑って大喜びしてましたw
