Helpful and useful
Husband and son found this book really useful as we were putting in a new kitchen, so needed to take the old one out. They also found it useful to explain the terms that tradesmen used when talking about the work they would need to carry out. well worth the purchase.

A must have book!
I had previously bought Home Plumbing written by the same author. Absolute brilliant books. Easy to follow with step by step and clear instructions, complete with hilarious sense of humour. I cannot recommend enough! Mr Blackwell or how to make DIY an enjoyable task!

Another triumph!
Mr Blackwell's previous work, the Haynes Home Plumbing Manual, announced the arrival of a new star in the firmament of plumbing manuals, a new benchmark against which all contributors to the genre will be measured from now on. It sits proudly on my bookshelf, sandwiched alphabetically between Arnold Bennett and William Blake, occasionally to be removed on those occasions when my pipework is in need of attention. Mr Blackwell's sage counsel ensures that even a stranger to the world of the O-ring, the nipple and the rim hole such as myself can undertake the necessary work with a minimum of fuss and without recourse to one of Mr Blackwell's cripplingly expensive industry peers. It was therefore with considerable delight that I received a copy of his new masterpiece in the post this morning, and if my initial perusings are any indication, it is a worthy sequel. I was recently quoted an eye-watering amount to refurbish the kitchen at Russell Towers, but with Mr Blackwell by side, in spirit if not in body, I am now confident in being able to carry out the work myself at considerably less expense. I look forward to getting "stuck in" as they say, and to showing off my new kitchen to visitors, all too rare though they may be.
