MY GRANDDAUGHTER LOVE THE BOOK

Cool stuff, adds a bit to the movie

I stopped at chapter 8 but I strongly feel the need to put in my review. I absolutely LOVE IT just as I love the movie itself! The only difference is how the book adds a little more details not shown in the film yet it makes it more fun to read! As a Lion King fan, love it so much!!

The back stories are filled with character building messages to teach future generations the qualities that real leaders must have to protect and care for those the want to lead!

Short but sums up the story well. Gives you a nice insight into the characters and their emotions, but I would point out the author made one specific error. In the writing on Mufasa’s perspective as a cub they sate that he never considered wanting a sibling but thought it might be fun to have one, when in fact there is a major solo in the middle of the song “ I always wanted a brother” that states specifically that Mufasa has always wanted a sibling like Taka himself. This seems a little jarring in comparison like the writer either didn’t watch the movie or didn’t pay close enough attention. also I feel it could have been longer with more insight into the backgrounds and thoughts of the Outsiders like Kiros. But otherwise a decent adaptation.

I watched the movie, but enjoyed this as an incredible way to spend more time with these beloved characters.
