I co-own a company that teaches foreign languages to young children, and some of the products we offer are illustrated storybooks. We decided to begin working with polymer clay to produce figures and scenes for our some of our photo illustrations. In the past I've worked with a small set of plastic modeling tools that served me well enough for personal projects, but the kind of detail needed for our clay figures required a set of much higher quality tools. The Skilled Crafter set is exactly what I was looking for, particularly in terms of the strength and durability of the tools, as well as the variety. I love that they are made of stainless steel with wood handles, and are mostly double ended. I also like that they come in a very compact cardboard case and a thick plastic sleeve for safety. The set includes brushes, knives, and needle tools that I find useful for polymer clay, as well as wire end tools, spatula and fettling knife that would also be good for larger projects in earthenware, etc. To my mind, the Skilled Crafter set has essentially every kind of tool an artist or artisan would need for almost any kind of clay project. I highly recommend this set!

This is a great product for sculpting.Very comfortable to use and easy to clean. They ship things fast and it came packed well. Great tools for the price as well. Excellent service.

These tools were just as good as I had hoped. Used with air dry clay and the results have been nice.
