Cooking Game Changer
I follow a lot of different cooking pages on social media because I love to cook. I have saw multiple cooking videos where they sous vide, and I decided I would give it a try. I bought this one based on price and reviews, and honestly it worked great. For someone who has never done sous vide, it was very easy to set up and simple to use. You just set your temperature and time and walk away. It will beep loudly and let you know when it is done. The first thing I sous vide was a porter house steak for two and a half hours at 128. I then pulled it, did a quick ice bath and seared on the griddle to get some crust. It turned out great. This sous vide cooker was a very simple user-friendly way to cook to the exact temperature you want. No more guessing on steak doneness while grilling. You can get the perfect temperature everytime.

Best Value
This is a no frills sous vide cooker. It doesn’t have any wifi connection or fancy apps. You simply clip it on to a container of your choice, set the time and temp and let it do what it’s suppose to do. The temperature was steady and even at all four corners of the Everie Sous vide container. I used a handheld Breekeet thermometer to check the water temperature against the digital display and it was within 0.1-0.6 degrees. That’s quite impressive for a unit that cost less than $43. I used it to cook some select grade ribeyes that I cut myself from an entire rib roast that I purchased back in December during the holiday sales. The first time I cooked those steaks the traditional way. I set the grill to 250° and waited until the internal temp was 120° then I reverse seared it at 600° until 140°. The meat was tough and dry. They say kids don’t lie and my daughter couldn’t finish it, she straight up said she didn’t really like the meat. Today I tried cooking two steak that were cut from the same roast with the Wancle. I set it to 120° and placed the steaks in a BPA free ziplock bag for 7 hours. Then I seared it on the grill at 600° until the reached an internal temperature of 140° just like the previous cook. This time the meat turned out juicy and tender. My daughter finished every piece on her plate and so did my 6 year old son who rarely eats beef. His baby teeth are also starting to come loose so it’s hard for him to chew at the moment but he powered through these sous vide steak like it was butter. My wife couldn’t tell the difference between this select cut versus the more expensive prime cuts that we normally buy from Costco. Thank you Wancle for making a great product that anyone can afford.

The company and the device is fantastic
I bought this about a year ago. Maybe a month or two less.. We love it so much, I take it camping and have it set up most of the time to quickly thaw meat if I'm not making a really delicious steak. The makers of this device. Wancle has blown me away, I reached out to them because between camping and using it in my house, I realized the bottom shield got misplaced and I tore my house and camper apart looking for it. With no luck. So I reached out to Wancle with a bit of hope that maybe I could order that part. They only asked me for my address and phone number and then proceeded to ship it to me for free. That is such a rare thing with any companies these days. This device is so durable, it's helped me make an entire thanksgiving turkey, traveling 12 hours to and from Thanksgiving and still is working fantastic. It's pretty quiet, I did modify it slightly by taking the clip off the back so I drilled a hole in a cheap cooler and then inserted the entire device into it. It is probably one of my top favorite kitchen appliances.

Nice unit, noisy, clip inefficient.
I looked at 3 different sous vide ovens and am keeping two of them. This unit was by far the noisiest. Also, it's clip system is not very efficient. Units with a turnscrew locking mechanism are more versatile and certainly more secure. It seems to heat well, and the display is intuitive. Its price is unbeatable. Not a bad unit, and with a few tweaks could be at the top!

A nice but simple immersion circulator
For this I suppose you can say that it's simple enough to operate. And it works pretty well. It might not have the latest features like Wi-Fi connectivity or time delay. But it works. And it's within okay enough temp variation, I'm not so sure if that's a term but you get what I'm trying to say. So this might be something that you could look into if you're looking for a cheap immersion circulator to get into sous vide. You don't always have to splurge on the latest and best and sometimes just the simplest cheapest one is good enough. The propeller is a stainless steel impeller so I suppose that would mean that it should be quite durable when talking about the impeller. The case that holds the impeller is made out of plastic and that might crack in the future but so far it still working as planned but I don't take it apart often. I'm really happy with this.

consistent product. Temperature runs slightly cool
Great value, but temperature runs a bit low. I just received the unit today and started using it. I decided to test the temperatures with my ThermoPro thermometer. First of all the temperature is consistent across all the water, and the temperature does not fluctuate much at all, so this is a consistent machine. I set it to 155 and noticed the temperature stayed at around 153.8 F. For yogurt I set temp to 110 and noticed hovering at 107.8 F. So it was 1-2 degrees F lower than expected. To be fair, my thermometer could be slightly inaccurate. But based on this test I would recommend to set it one degree higher than your expected temperature. Your mileage may vary.

Heats water consistently
works great for prepping deer skulls for taxidermy purposes. I don't use it for cooking food but it would probably be good for that too. Easy to set up and keeps water at consistent temp. It's been tossed around my shop and used for 12+ hours at a stretch without any issues, so plenty durable.

Returned WanCle sous-vide after 4 failed batches of L. Reuteri, Easy Return & credit applied quickly
Was hoping this affordable product would work great for my purpose of making L. Reuteri yogurt. I had made 4 batches and all had failed. Be warry, failed batches are not cheap, especially the coconut, very frustrating experience. After these failures, I took all my same products, except for the sous-vide, and made several successful batches at my neighbor's home using her Blitzhome sous-vide. WanCle brand sous-vide was easy to use, just the temperature control was not holding as steady as the display was showing for 36hours. Also, this product was an easy return for me via Amazon and dropped it off at one of the local office box store (other return options available). Didn't realize for several days, the credit went straight to my Amazon account (instead of applying credit to me credit card). First time for me to apply this credit to the purchase of the next sous-vide, which was a little confusing at first as it didn't seem intuitive. But only took a few extra minutes of learning how to apply the credit for it to work. Btw, this machine had no app feature, design was fine and never tried to clean it.
