Excellent fit & comfort!
I’m 5’8” and today’s typical mesh or athletic shorts look almost like high water trousers on me. I was looking to replace some old early 2000’s big name shorts with a shorter inseam to no avail. I found these and ordered a few just to try and they are AWESOME! Have been durable, machine wash & tumble dry well, and holding up great (been wearing for 6-8 weeks now). They are not so short that they look like Daisy Dukes, and they cover everything well…plus they are so comfortable for outdoor walks, treadmill, elliptical, and even my rowing machine without bunching and binding. Also, they are great for around the house, mowing the yard, etc. I loved the first few pair SO much that I was afraid they may sell out or quit making them and ordered duplicates of those AND 8-10 more in different colors to have at this price point! My friend saw them and tried on a pair of mine and ordered some as well, as we both hate the baggy & saggy look for working out or regular activity! Highly recommend!

Way Better Than Expected!
I got these for around the house in the summer (it gets pretty hot). I don't like hems rubbing the skin on my upper leg, so went with a 3" inseam. I was pretty concerned about things poking out, but I figured these are used by lots of guys, so likely should be fine. They are! The way the polyester is cut, there's a good closure along the leg, with no problems. And yet, it's loose enough not to "cling." I can understand that others wouldn't like running in these, as there isn't any internal support -- sort of like very short pajamas, but with slightly heavier fabric -- still very light, though.I'm 5'8" and about 185lb, over 60 with an older man belly. Hips are 39", waist about 40". I went with the Medium, and it's very good! There's enough play in the elastic waistband that they don't fall down. I don't need the drawstring, and although some say it's very thick and interfering, I don't find that at all. It's long enough to be useful, but not so long that it swings all over or catches on kitchen cabinet knobs. There's no fly, so it's a "pull down the waist" operation, or even "lift up the leg" event. Fine! These are for comfort and mostly just being on my own, minding my own business. I don't use the pockets, but they're decent if you're maybe in a gym.I'll get some more, but I think I'll try the Large size next time. The Medium isn't tight at all, and quite comfortable, but I'll try the larger size just to see. The price is right, so why not? Don't worry about the short inseam -- you can use any posture you normally use, and still keep your modesty. :-) Great product!

Not for the extremely modest, blends out tan lines
These are very lightweight, and quite short, mesh shorts. They are well constructed with a substantial elastic waistband (plus a drawstring) and have appropriately sized front pockets that comfortably hold the average cell phone. I was searching for shorts with the mesh fabric, but I had been hoping for the older style two-layer construction, where a coarse mesh is sewn over a finer weave mesh -- whereas these utilize only one layer of the finer weave material. I like mesh, because in addition to being light and airy, it allows enough sunlight through that tan lines get blended away. I do recommend the 5 inch inseam for most people, because the outseam on these shorts, at about 13.5" on my XL pair, is a little too short for me to comfortably wear in public. In contrast, I have an older pair of shorts with a 3" inseam that measure about 2 1/2" longer overall than this pair. I would recommend paying attention to the sizing chart on the website. I have a 36" waist, and based on other comments, I ordered both the Large and XL sizes. While the elastic waistband has plenty of room on the Large pair, the overall effect is not flattering, so I definitely recommend the XL's if you have over a 34" waist. Comments by others on the sheerness of this fabric, or that it is almost "transparent", deserve a bit of clarification. It is true that if you hold these shorts up to a light source, you can see the light surprisingly clearly; however, I don't know of anyone who keeps a light inside their shorts. In practice, to see underneath them, light must not just pass through the fabric, but then must be reflected back to your eyes in a coherent pattern, which really doesn't happen, so I wouldn't sweat that one.

Comfortable, cool short shorts
These shorts are very thin, light weight, and breezy cool. Perfect for summer wear. 35 " waist, and 195 lb. Not muscular build in thigh and butt, so the mediums actually are the most comfortable fit. A little short, but not too short as to be self conscious of wearing in public. They expose a lot of leg, but the cheeks are still covered. I normally wear large, but are a little baggy, and will slide right off my my but, unless I tie the strings tight. The medium fit better, and don,t need to tie the strings at all. Already ordered all colors, except pink. Don't care for pink. I will order more for the future, in case they stop producing.

Thin Material…
Material is thin but the fit is great and feels comfy. not at all and is a little loose, probably should have bought an xs but it had a drawstring so it’s alright.
