You can see the valve in the photo in the footwell of my car, the good news is you can loosen the brass nut on top of the valve and turn the valve lever to any direction you want. That helps a lot. The valve works, the threaded holes are 3/8 npt, I used adapters to make them quarter inch, and I took the lever off and put an angle bracket on there to hold it, it is difficult to see in the photo, but there are two screws going through the carpet into the firewall to hold the valve in place.
