It also comes with a rear gimbal (pictured). Guides are all alps, but the tip is a standard stainless welded ring (also pictured). Because it is a glass rod, it has a nice flex to it which helps me identify bites at 900-1300ft deep using 2 pound sinkers. I had to give it 4 stars because the rear grip and tip were not as advertised. If they actually showed or said what is was, I would have given it 5 stars all day.
