I've started a tradition the past few years of giving my children and grandchildren the same general type of birthday gift. It's been a fun challenge and this year I decided to try to find a perfect box for each. For the youngest three grandsons I ordered identical pirate style treasure boxes and have given one this month, saving the other two for Feb and June. They looked ok online but I was disappointed in the quality and workmanship. They'll be fine for a year or two I hope.Then I discovered your boxes! I've ordered and received the butterfly and Celtic styles. They are well made, beautiful, and perfect for my granddaughter and grandson. I just ordered the eagle for another grandson. That leaves ten more to order this year, and I'm planning on sticking with MarqART!I will order the fish, compass and hummingbird for sure. Maybe the golfer. The moose, bear, deer, and elk are nice as well. We have a beautiful mountain cabin and your designs are meaningful to us. If I had to make a suggestion I'd wish for more flower, tree, waterfall, heart or ? designs. I love the craftsmanship and the insert about the design and woods used was of great interest! The butterfly box I purchased is truly a piece of art. Wonderfully designed and crafted with care. I believe it's always great to support American artists. This is a family run business that really cares about the product they produce. The box was a gift for my sister. I know she will absolutely enjoy it. This is my second time purchasing from this company. I have a few nice pieces and this jewelry box is where I keep them. My husband also has one for his watch and wedding ring. Beautifully crafted and does not disappoint.

You can tell this lovely box was handcrafted by its tight joints and inlaid design. This was a baby shower gift for one of our guests and she absolutely loved it. The craftsmanship is excellent and the butterfly design simply stunning. No rough edges, soft and smooth finish. Strong hinges too. I can't say enough about the quality. I was vey impressed.

This is a very nice product,it is nicely finished and looks to be well made.I will use it as part of a gift which is why I purchased it.I think I may have misunderstood some of the description about the artwork.I thought this was real inlay of individual pieces of wood and it may be.When you run your finger over the artwork it is totally smooth and when I look at the artwork with a magnifying glass it looks like a picture.I don't want to disparage this work but if is real inlay it is perfect.
