I’ve been using the 11-inch iPad Air with the M2 chip for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become my go-to device for both work and play. It offers a sleek design, snappy performance, and just enough features to feel premium without overwhelming your wallet.First off, the 11-inch Liquid Retina display is a stunner—sharp at 2360x1640 resolution (264 ppi), with vibrant colors thanks to P3 wide color support. It’s not OLED like the Pro, so blacks aren’t as deep, and the 60Hz refresh rate feels a tad dated compared to competitors’ 120Hz screens (e.g., Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9). Still, for streaming shows like Ted Lasso or sketching with the Apple Pencil Pro (sold separately), it’s more than adequate. The 500-nit brightness holds up indoors, but I had to crank it up outside to fight glare—not a dealbreaker, just worth noting.The M2 chip is the real star here. It’s the same processor from the last-gen iPad Pro, and it chews through tasks like multitasking with Split View, editing 4K video in iMovie, or playing Genshin Impact with zero lag. I exported a 5-minute 4K clip in under a minute, which is impressive for a tablet this size. Apple claims it’s 50% faster than the M1 Air, and while I don’t have benchmark numbers handy, the difference is noticeable in everyday zip. It’s overkill for casual browsing, but future-proofing is a plus, especially with Apple Intelligence features rolling out.Design-wise, it’s slim (0.24 inches) and light (1.02 pounds), making it comfy to hold for hours. The recycled aluminum chassis feels sturdy, and the Space Gray finish I got looks classy without attracting fingerprints. The repositioned 12MP front camera (now on the landscape edge) is a game-changer for video calls—Center Stage keeps me framed perfectly, and it’s a noticeable upgrade from older iPads. The rear 12MP camera is fine for quick snaps or scanning documents, but don’t expect iPhone-level photography.Battery life is solid—about 10 hours of mixed use (web, video, some gaming), matching Apple’s claim. The USB-C port (now USB 3.1 Gen 2) is speedy for transfers, though you’ll need your own fast-charging brick to hit 20W. Stereo speakers in landscape mode are loud and clear, with decent bass for a tablet this thin—great for music or movies without earbuds.

I have been using Apple iPads over the last 7 years vs a standard laptop or other computer options. I just fell in love with the whole system and have no need to use anything else again, or it would have to be a very extrodinary item to sway me to use something other than an iPad. I happened to have gotten one for myself, in yellow gold 2 yrs ago the 10.2” one which was an up grade from a smaller one. I absolutly adore it and when my Daughter in law went back to Nursing School to finish out her degree I surprised her with this one. She said it is perfect, effortlessly paired and set up from her own iPhone within minutes and then she just transfered her school work from what she just started using to this and said everything literally was ready to go within 15 minutes. She is able to remit her work, use it for graphs, tape her professors both verbal a on camera if she wanted and is able to go over her notes in that way while she is able to scribble notes on a different screen that she has open along side of the recording one. I find this all so interesting and I am so happy to be able to make her college and nursing school life a bit easier. While it is a big expense, it is one that comes with great capacities which in my opinion out weigh that expense. I like that she has both ability to use this in her home with her own WIFI or at school with a quick pairing with theirs. The color is a beautiful Lavender/Purple, the screen size is perfect even besides for school work but to watch movies and play games on. Even to watch YOUTUBE and make dinner from directions frrom there or from Alexa if you have the ALEXA APP and AMAZON PRIME which she does. She can even borrow text books if need be from the extensive library on AMAZON. This sharp screen, large capacity Liquid Retina 128GB iPad is just what she needed and I am so glad not only that they had it in a color she loves, with all the possible things included to meet her needs or add ons like Ear Buds, keyboard and things of that nature that can and were added after this major purchase. I was also for a very reasonable price able to get her the Apple Care+ insurance on this incase its in some way broken and will be repaired or replaced depending on the situation. That is a two year contract with APPLE not AMAZON. Very happy with this purchase and with Amazon’s pricing on it I felt was very reasonable.

I got this ipad for school and it's been though alot while still being as perfect as the day i bought it. So good for watching youtube, doing homework, taking notes. I use it just for fun too :) i love it. Only downside, i feel thr camera quality of the selfie camera isnt the best quality, but the other side is really in good/natural lighting. Other than that, its great.

Absolutely Love this IPad! It’s a must have for anyone looking for a portable device. I like the iPad a bit more than the MacBook because you can connect a Bluetooth keyboard and a Mac mini and you have a full laptop. It’s like having 2 in one. Tablet quality is 10/10. Great value for the money! No complaints here! Highly recommended! I will keep this thing for atleast 5-7 years and upgrade by then.

Its an iPad- works well, a bit overpriced, arguably better than my android. I miss the headphone jack, and apple never allowed a SD expansion, but now neither does Samsung. Great screen, very good battery life, noticeably quicker than the 2022 version
