DIY Ceramic - Easy To Apply
Don’t let anyone tell you it takes a professional to ceramic coat you vehicle. That’s not true.I have never applied ceramic coatings to a vehicle before nor was I trained how beyond watching YouTube videos but wanted to try it. Before applying this to my vehicle a neighbor and I split the cost of an order of this Cerakote product. We applied it to an old junky 11 year old dark gray work truck. We chose it because he didn’t care if we screwed it up. This truck has areas where the paint ranges from good condition to beyond hope condition. It has perfect paint and heavily oxidized paint as well as places that look ok but the clearcoat is etched by rainwater. The end result was amazing. The hood where the paint was pretty good looks showroom perfect now. Like a mirror. The oxidized paint areas was greatly improved and we found that this stuff fills in and corrects small clear coat scratches. But the fact that we applied this product ourselves with no prior experience and did a good job is the point. Just find a YouTube video. Follow the instructions. Done. Perhaps other ceramic coating are more difficult. I don’t know. But this one is easy and if you could screw it up I probably would have but didn’t. I’ve used Cerakote trim coating and also the headlight restorer kits before. All very easy to use. Very DIY friendly. Great results. This product is just as good. Highly recommend it.

Amazing stuff.
This Cerakote Paint Coating is amazing. Easy on, easy off and it leaves hard, ultra smooth and glossy finish. I've used the Cerakote Paint Sealant for a long time. It's good, but the paint coating is noticeably better. I've only had it on the finish for a short time, but it's fairly obvious that it should last a lot longer than the paint sealant, which lasted easily for 6 months to a year. Word to the wise... Cerakote recommends waiting 5 minutes after applying the paint coating before buffing to a high gloss shine. Don't wait a lot longer! I notice a couple of spots I missed, About 24 hours later, it was quite hard to get the streaks off. I used IPA (isopropyl alcohol to remove the initial coat and applied a new coat. Fortunately, I had enough product left. It comes in two small bottles that are barely enough to cover one SUV. (I have two and needed to order a second set of two bottles.)

Best ceramic coating for Pros and enthusiasts.
I have applied other ceramic coating brands like Adams, Gyeon, Chemical Guys, Turtle Wax, Chinese 9H generic, etc. From the spray versions to small bottle serums. Some are great, like Adams, but very difficult to apply correctly. Some others are easy to apply but just don't last. Maybe six months at max.Cerakote was the first high quality ceramic coating that is easy to apply and last. I've bought the first time when they launched the product, and it is still up on the VW Jetta that I applied. After that, I applied in a few more cars and all of them, the ceramic coating is still working correctly with the water beading effects and protection. Are there other great ceramic coatings out there? Of course! Gtechnic, Gyeon, Adams are great brands, and you don't go wrong with them. But what keeps me buying more and more Cerakote is the best price x performance in the market. For this price, you won't get anything better than Cerakote. Also, the easy to apply is probably unbeatable. So, if you are a professional or an enthusiast and want to have a great protection in your car. Get this one and you will not regret.PS: Applying ANY ceramic coating doesn't make your car paint shielded from scratches. It helps reduce the scratches by making the clear coating hydrophobic and giving a thin layer of ceramic coating. To keep this layer, you need to continue washing your car and applying some maintenance to the coating, like ceramic coating quick detailer, wax or sealants. It is the maintenance that will make your ceramic coating to last for years.

Solid performance, easy to apply
It's probably too early to properly review since I put on around a month ago but it's working really well. I also added a coat of Cerakote rapid ceramic paint sealant that as an added layer of protection. It's definitely slick to the touch and beads water extremely well. I happened to park between two other black vehicles and the difference was really obvious. One was the same make as mine but there was really no comparison to the level of shine. The owner of the other car probably felt ashamed.I have another car that has Gyeon Mohs/Skin. It's been about a year and a half and it's still going strong, so if you're considering it as a choice you won't go wrong there either. The Cerakote costs a good bit less and was also easy to apply. Plus, I like that Cerakote actually makes there own stuff.
