I have been looking for something that will keep my recycling in the boxes even when the wind blows. These are simple to use and do the job required.

Great idea but need a way of attaching permanently.
Living in a coastal area we get some pretty wild winds, and retrieving recyclable items after a windy night before the bin-men arrived was not one of my favourite tasks.This mesh cover did a very good job keeping the stuff in the waste box, but it only took 3 collections before it went missing, presumably dumped in the lorry. One star off for not having an attachment method.

bulky doesn't fit standard bin, fits more of the storage containers that collect for newspaper
bulky, heavy to use, tricky, gets wet easy... hard to maintain, can not recomend this and its also only suitable for a storage box and not your standard council bins here in the uk.

Good net cover for recycling box, seems to work well.
This is a great stretchy string recycling box net which comes in a couple of plastic bags. The material is good, and the longer edges of this, when you stretch it over a recycling box does stretch well. It doesn't have this stretchy elastic all the way around the edges, only really on the longer sides, but this does work at covering my box and keeping paper in. I've had some issues with some people chucking some of their rubbish into my boxes as they go when they aren't out for the binmen (postmen, neighbours, not sure who?) but luckily this has stopped them chucking it in too. Overall so far, can't complain.

Windy days can no longer scatter my recycling
recycling is a great idea - the downside to the area I live in is that they give you these open boxes to put it in. They also want you to put the bins out the night before collection. There is nothing better than hearing the wind pick up in the night and looking out of the window to see you have gone from being a recycler to a litter bug.This net is great. Fits the box perfectly and keeps everything secure. Got a good bit of stretch so I can squeeze those extra bits on the top when the box is already full.Negative is that you then have to expect the bin men to remove it and not throw it away with the recycling or put it in your neighbours bin as a free gift. It could do with some sort of clip so you could connect it to the box with a screw. Then it would deserve 5 stars.
