good general purpose hatchet for firewood, camp etc.
can be difficult to find suppliers. Oschenkopf axes are underrated in my view and offer a good quality/price point. Found a maul style old short handle one in a junk shop but needed a lightweight one for sisters use. Fits the bill at around 800gm and is well balanced for chopping but doesn't throw well.

Great hatchet, bought to replace a cheaper hatchet and I’m very satisfied. The head holds an edge very well and gets extremely sharp. The handle is very well proportioned and balanced. Would repeat.
