I've tried several car phone mounts in the past years and none of them have ever worked right. They are either poorly made, are of cheap materials, or they just don't work. I love the this one for several reasons...It doesn't have to be glued to the dashboard, it is so quick an easy to install, and the quality is very good with a very strong clamp. So you know the phone's not going anywhere! I also love that it swivels so you can look at your phone vertically or horizontally. The quality is great yet the price is so reasonable. I know my husband will want one when he sees mine, so I'm ordering another one for Christmas!

Bought for a 2024 Sentra. The spring is sturdy and strong, the adjustments are solid and will support an iPhone 15 Plus. 2 issues though. First, the little plastic ball that rotates to change the angle and orientation of the phone is an odd size so you can't change it out for a magnetic mount like many other styles allow. Second, if your dash isn't a specific thickness and rounded just right the clamp won't secure the mount properly, it'll be unstable and wiggle. Still giving it 4 stars because it's inexpensive and I'm sure someone will be happy to use it. It's well made, just wish it worked for me.

The only location I can put this thing in my truck is on the dash directly in front of my steering wheel. This thing is too big and blocks too much of your view out of the windshield. It sticks up pretty high even if you lower it all the way down. Then when you put your phone in it, it really blocks your view and is dangerous. I would not recommend it.
