Following a professional fogging these were used on a once every other day basis to ensure any hatching flies were killed. With drain flies they have a 20day life and can breed again 3 days after hatching, so it's important to break the cycle. These do the trick.

Terrible product, a little puff of smoke. Not up to the task.

I ordered these to help get rid of some moths in the house - I had tried the natural alternatives and they didn't work properly. These fumers have an actual pesticide in which works properly and kills everything dead - just light it, let it smoke and four hours later the room can be aired out.Four fumers did two BIG bedrooms for me, which is exactly what it needed. I would note that its important to pop these on a metal/heatproof tray to make sure they don't scorch carpet or flooring.10/10 - I even ordered more!

I have not used a smoke bomb like this before. Having lit the touch paper and smoke started to rise I retreated and went to watch from outside the greenhouse as the smoke rose all around the area. Within 15 minutes the smoke had gone. I left the door closed and came away.I will go in tomorrow and see what if anything has died. And report back.After 48 hours I could not find any pests still alive.The smoke bombs do see quite an expensive way to fumigate a greenhouse or household room but if they are very effective I can see the appeal.We are asked to give our opinion on value for money and so I have removed a star though as the product does seem expensive for what you get.

When these arrived I was surprised at how small they but after setting one off in the garage the large amount of smoke was also surprising.If you're using them in the garage like I did then it is probably advisable to notify your neighbours. My garage has a bit of a gap at the front and the smoke found its way out which had someone seen it they might have been alarmed.I left it for a few hours before opening the garage door and there was still smoke in there which quickly cleared once the garage door was wide open.A quick look around and there were signs of "sleeping" critters on the floor, not too many but a few. The main reason I used it was for an infestation of False Widows who all seemed to survive.I gave it a 2nd try with two this time and when I went back I was pleasantly surprised to see they had done the job. I don't know if it was the 1st just needing more time to kick in or if the 2nd attempt was what did it but either way, these things work!I will definitely be buying more and letting them off once in a while to keep my garage clear.Decent. 100% recommended.

Do not use this product if you have pet cats - the active ingredient, permethrin is highly toxic to cats.Its very disappointing that this is not pointed out on the product listing, nor on the packaging of the product itself.

I wish i knew how to turn the smoke alarms off, otherwise i'd use this indoors.if u create a small, safe space to initiate these, they do a wonderful job and are very controlled.outdoors tho.ideal, absolutely ideal, for an out-house enclosure. (not specifically a toilet but that would be a good idea)
