I purchased this to modify PC cases, and the tool has been simply perfect for this use case. The bundle comes with a lot, frankly, more than I know what to do with, and oddly didn't come with the specific bit to cut metal (my use case). At the same time, it was a minimal expense and effort to get the right bit.The documentation and materials included are perfect for a layperson, and coming from a battery powered unit, I can vouch for the wired one being the one to go for.Using the battery powered unit, I would have to recharge multiple times for a single case modification, which drastically slowed down my progress. Wiring in, no such holdups, and I love it.Works great, as advertised. All the extra bits may or may not be useful given your use case. The product also feels and handles like a well built device, never threatening or scaring me for my safety.

I’ve been using my Dremels a lot lately and, like any motor, they get hot with extended, continuous use. Rather than risk harming one, or lose bench time, I just got another Dremel to take the heat off the others. I know Dremel makes other models with higher amps, more features, etc., but I’ve always found the 4000 to be an absolute work horse, so I got another. Whether I’m working on wood or metal, the 4000 is more than enough to do all the things I need it to do. I like this bag, too. It’s soft-sided so it’s easily stuff-able. It now holds all my small Dremel attachments, very nice to have them all in one place finally so I don’t have to hunt. Should save me buying another attachment that I already have, but couldn’t find when I needed it. I am beyond pleased with every part of this purchase!

My go to tool for about every task. I added this to my Dremel collection, I call this my momma Dremel, I have several now. This one has a very nice case and I can carry 4 Dremel tools in it, and my accessories in a different case. It is lightweight but very powerful and easy to use for smaller hands and does not vibrate so much that makes it too difficult for an older lady like me to handle. Great deal as well if you can catch it on sale during Prime days or other Amazon sale days! So many Dremel accessories are available making this such a functional tool!

This was a purchase for my daughter, who makes jewelry out of broken china and needed it to sand the edges of the pieces. She likes it a lot and it works great. She did purchase another sanding attachment, which she says is a big improvement over the ones included, but it was an inexpensive addition and she likes the tool itself very much. I guess whether you will need to do the same depends on how you will be using it. Anyway, I consider it a worthwhile buy.

I love the inclusion of frequently used accessories in one purchase! It saves you from interrupting your project and losing your mojo, just because you had to run to the store to pick up something that would make your crafting easier. I'm glad the Dremel company added the cutting guide attachment, and the sanding/grinding guide attachment. The user manual is well written and comprehensive, covering other commonly used Dremel options. This ends up being a "wish list", and you can refer to one source instead of having multiple manuals.
