Dalton runs afoul of Wesley (Ben Gazzara), the meanest SOB round these parts, by taking up with his former girlfriend, Doc (Kelly Lynch)--the only woman in town with an IQ approaching double digits, even if she had unfathomably hooked up with such a lowlife. Swayze had complained about being typecast as beefcake when this was made, but that didn't stop him from revealing as much skin as possible. A really good movie, a must for your collection
I found Road House to be an excellent story from start to finish. If you do not already have this DVD for your collection, I would recommend you add it.

Really good
This movie is really worth a watch. Full of action- though I still prefer the original as I do most originals, this is still a great movie.

I like the zen at the beginning
As a long time bar manager, I found this film extremely interesting, most especially for Patrick swayze's character's interest in tai chi and philosophy. Interesting watching, although later on it became a more typical "action" film with normalised everyday violence. It was one perspective on abuse of power in a small town which was quite realistic. Good enough to watch a couple of times, I thought.

A superb movie
This is a repakcement for a lost/borrowed dvd. Still a fantastic movie/film and this one arrived in oerfect condition. Go Dalton, Go Wade lol.

Quality DVD
A lot of reviews are reviewing the film which I don't need to know about! I know the film and wanted a quality version, not a cheap copy. This appears to be the genuine article, cellophane wrapped as new and top quality when played - can't fault it so definitely recommend!

Where the product is coming from
This productwas nothing like what i wanted. It was a europeen version and nowhere did the add states that is was comjng from there. Very disapointed.just basically lost my money.
