A Difficult Read
As a qualified and practicing hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, I bought this book wanting and expecting to love it. The reality was that I found it an extremely difficult book to "get in to", and to actually absorb and understand its content rather than simply reading the words off the page.I have read and studied many text books both during and since qualifying, and this is probably the least helpful I have purchased to date, and, try as I might, I have been unable to finish the book.

Best explanation of both theories available.
This book is by far one of the best explanations of Rogers I have encountered. The outlining principles of both rogers and Erickson and dealt with perfectly. I believe that a counselling student would benefit greatly from reading this book.
