So we were building a shed and it's in a pretty windy area now we used hurricane ties on the roof but I wanted to make sure because the shed was only 8 ft wide and 15 ft long that it was going to be secured so I bought these I'm happy with them it's going to work and I think that there was enough for me to be able to actually have a second project so when I do my woodshed I'm going to do the same thing.We drove him down into the ground it was relatively easy it hasn't been tested yet and a big storm but I pulled up on that cable and it is secure and we have really hard soil I didn't think it was going to go in but driving it down with a small sledgehammer it worked

I haven't used this ground anchor yet but I did look at it and read the instructions that came with it. We get a lot of wind in the winter and I have a very tall sculpture that I made that sits in the yard. I usually take it down and lie it on it's side in the winter because i am so afraid it is going to fall over and damage something. My plan is to attach the ground anchors to it so that I can leave it in year-round. I think this will work as it looks very strong. I will have to update this review once I use it and see if it really works as well as I think it's going to.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but after I hammer the anchor into the ground, I can’t pull the driver out because it catches on the cable loop. Moving it around doesn’t seem to help. I might go back to the auger style anchors next time.

Great quality….legit held item secure in winds upwards of 80mph!!! So happy!

These ground anchors are lighter than expected. The quality seems to be well otherwise, but it would be better if they would feel more heavy duty. They would work well for a tent or similar structure, but I would not trust them this a shed as advertised. They are not very expensive so if you need to keep down some light duty structure like a tent then this set will work just fine and I would recommend it, but do not buy it to keep down something like a shed.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY if you have clay in your property. Clay jams up the butterfly mechanism so that it does not want to open, and cable loop on butterfly mechanism catches on the driver shaft socket, and the whole thing pulls up when trying to remove shaft.

I used them to hold down my mini barn.

I was skeptical of these working.Every time I have ever tried something similar, the driving rod easily binds or breaks, and the anchor quality is questionable.I did need to go buy a 4lbs sledge to drive them in easier than a regular hammer, but other than that it worked great and I am very confident that this will add the stability that I needed for my shed build as a DIY builder who did not want to learn to pour concrete and such and make my install labor as minimal as possible.
