Fantastic little torch
Edit; After 10 more dives I can confirm the burn time is well in excess of 2 hours on full power and that when it runs low instead of cutting off it switches to a lower brightness setting which runs for at least another 30 minutes.Price, packaging and delivery were all spot on. First impression out of the box is that it is very well made, it feels solid in the hand and out of the water it's blindingly bright, worth noting that the over-heat protection is essential, out of the water it gets very hot!It is delivered with two batteries which can be charged independently in the supplied charger, it only needs one, . It also comes with two spare o-rings which is a nice touch! In the water it works flawlessly. A bright spot with a softer wider light, the colour temperature is very blue which should cut through a lot of particulate.I used this torch to light up the attached photos, as you can see there is a very distinct hotspot and a fall off but this can be used to effect. The torch is rated to two hours burn time on full power and has a green "power status" light around the switch which changes colour as the power level drops. I did a 75 min dive and the power and brightness levels didn't change at all so I'm confident the 2 hour mark would have been exceeded, at least on new batteries. The negatives such as they are! I would have liked to to see an option at least to buy a ball or clamp mount for attaching to a camera or scooter (made one of my own) and would also like to see an option to buy a goodman style soft glove mount for the back op of the hand. I'd also prefer a torch that offered a "flood or spot" choice. But at this price I'm probably being greedy!Overall I think this is a very well made toch, I checked and cleaned all the threads and o-rings when it arrived but they were clean and I could have just put a battery in and gone diving.Value for money 10/10Build Quality 10/10Packaging, shipping etc 10/10Functions 9.5/10update. It is the mark of a good supplier when they deal efficiently with a problem. I was so pleased with this torch my wife bought one too. Sadly 2 months later it developed a fault. We reported the problem to the manufacturer and 4 days later a new one was delivered. No quibble, no debate just exemplary service.

Happy to reccomend
Use this for diving around the UK and am happy to recommend. it's plenty bright enough to bring back colour and detail in marine life, and completely illuminate cracks and crevices in wrecks and rocky reefs. Angle/focus of the beam is good, wide enough to be useful in crevices and under hangs, but not wide enough that it just illuminates a fog of plankton. It comes complete with the charger and 2 li-ion batteries of 11.1Wh each - the torch only takes one, so you have a spare ready to go. They are Odepro branded but not proprietary - generic replacement cells are easy to find (type 18650 3000mAh 3.7v li-ion)The batteries need to be removed for charging so this isn't a sealed unit, there's an and O-ring and screw seal, but it's very well made and inspires confidence. You get spare O-rings as well. All in all, a solid, good value diving torch that I am happy to recommend.NOTE: The instructions warm you not to use this torch on land due to over-heating risk (it uses the water as a heat sink). This is not suitable for use other than underwater.

Survived 40+ dives in tough Scottish conditions, and still going strong
EDIT:After 40 or so dives, I can firmly say that this is a wonderful little torch. Very bright for it's size, easily stowed on your harness (I use it for a DIR style backup) and very easy to use with thick gloves. The batteries are also genuine 3000mAh cells (tested on a smart charger) and are top notch quality.I fully recommend it!The o-rings don't come greased, so make sure to lubricate them before diving, and there was some swarf on the threads (caused by a small section of damaged thread). I made sure to remove all contamination from the torch and to ensure the o-rings were clean.I'll probably send the torch down to 60m in the pressure pot at work when I get a chance.Edit: I pressure tested it in a wet pressure chamber and sent it down to 70m (7 bar above atmospheric pressure) for 5-10 minutes and it didn't develop any leaks. I was worried it might go through the switch but no issues presented themselves. I'll see how well it performs after a good few dives but it's looking like a 5 star piece of equipment! The light itself turns on easily and the button is not overly stiff at all. The light is bright, although it states 950 lumens on the box which is contrary to the ad description. However, the light it produces is significant for it's small stature and the beam has a nice profile to it (it could have a tighter spot though). The two power settings are well spaced and the batteries seem like good quality ones.I can't comment on the charger as I have a better one that I used instead.

Odepro WD12 Scuba Diving Flashlight 1050 Lumens Rechargeable 100M Underwater Diving Torch
The battery life was good for almost 2 hours of diving, although it’s so bright I only needed it at half power, even at depth. You really cannot argue with the cost of this light against other brands for the punch it packs!Unfortunately I was diving in a UK quarry which suffers from seasonal algae bloom so I wasn’t able to give it a thorough test so I only have one photo to post. But it certainly cut through the gloom and made my buddy moan when he got in the way of the beam - oops! The only downside, if you call it that, is that there’s no way of widening the beam. It’s going to be more beneficial to me as a ‘snoot’ light for my camera, but that’s no bad thing. It’s also a great size to pop into a BCD pocket and I would definitely be happy to use this as my primary light on a night dive. All in all, this is a cracking little light and worth the outlay!
