Great cell camera for the price
First time using spypoint cell cameras but had to try it for the price. I've used many other brands ( more expensive) but after using this spypoint im really happy and would buy this over the others. Pictures are nice and clear day and night, trigger speed is fast. all pictures were taken right as the animal entered the frame so 3 burst would actually get you 3 pictures of the animal. Nice and compact, setup with app was easy and the best part is you get 100 pics a month free, no other brand gives you that. Battery life seems good so far. It does take the micro SD card not the full size so that may be a draw back for some. and the threaded hole is on the back of the camera instead of the bottom. Not a big deal for me cause I always just strap these to a tree, and lastly i did notice that the speed of the notification to your phone when the camera takes a pic is a little slower than my other brands usually takes about 40-60 seconds but not a big deal to me. overall very happy with the camera performance and price

Great quality with good pictures
I have used several trail cameras through the years for trapping animals. I keep coming back to this brand. They’re multifunctional with the night vision, ability to have the pictures sent directly to my phone, easy to put together and set up and are not huge and bulky for transporting in the fields. The pictures are crisp and clean and I love the app. The ability to have pictures sent to my phone as they’re taken has helped with trapping so much and the plans are reasonably priced. This model doesn’t have video functions (that will be my next purchase I promise you that) but the pictures are crisp and clean and assist so much in my rescue endeavors.

Camera 4/5 App 3/5 Service 3/5
I have owned these cameras for about 4 months and I also purchased the lithium batter packs for these as well. I used both throughout the previous NorthEast Deer season with absolutely no issue with either camera. And both never need to be recharged throughout the season. The transmission plans send a downgraded quality of pictures to your phone, and you can pay a little extra to have higher resolution pics sent, I chose not to and had zero issue with identifying what was on my camera including positively identifying Trespassers on posted property. But the cameras also store the high resolution pictures on an SD card and function like any other trail cam whether you use a Cellular plan or not and I really like that feature. The build quality/durability of these cameras seem solid, no issues with moisture or sun glare or anything. My only gripe with the actual camera is the door to access the controls and memory card can be quite difficult to open when mounted on a tree with a strap or stand off mount. I often had to remove the camera and apply quite a bit of pressure to open the door which is fine when they are near the ground but I often mount my cameras high in a tree so this was a bit annoying. I also had one SD card completely die in of the cameras, not sure if it was card issue or camera issue but worth noting as I have many of these same cards and never had a failure so for those reasons im giving the Camera a 4/5The App itself is a 4/5. I really like it over all compared to other companies apps, especially Moultrie. Very easy to navigate through settings and functions and for an inexpensive camera, I didn't expect a lot but it actually has a quite robust feature set as compared to Moultrie. I would choose these over my Moultrie Edge any day, the Edge has a slight advantage in picture quality but really nothing else. It would be nice if you could choose and pay for plans via the App, but you need to goto there website via a browser to do that, seems a little odd to me in this day and age. Overall, again pretty happy with app and how it is set up.Lastly, customer service 3/5I have 2 of these cameras, one is used year round, the other as needed. I pay an annual fee for the main camera for year round use, no issue there. The other camera I do monthly as i use it in the off season to monitor construction site traffic. I started noticing weird charges to my bank account monthly but sometimes would be charged twice in a month. After talking with my bank and doing research myself we were unable to identify who was charging me so I chose to close the account. Then and only then I started recieving emails from Spypoint saying they were unable to charge my account. The cameras are supposed to default back to a free plan when no other plan is chosen but they kept trying to charge me even though I put the camera back on the free plan. This has been going on since October when I purchased the cameras. The email the sent me had a link for support, followed the link, wrote a lengthly email explaing things, only to get a an automated email back saying the dont offer email support please go to our website. Lost a star right there.Contacted the live support Via their website, which is 24/7 so thats nice., explained everything, found the issue and resolved it very quickly. Great, however, when I tried to explain to them I wasn't receiving receipts for charges they were trying to make and also there charges are Identified correctly to the bank they basically said its my fault for choosing, by accident, the auto renewal monthly plan via their website. I have to problem paying for something I did whether I wanted it or accidently chose it, but if they sent some sort of Invoice and receipt stating why I was being charged, I could taken care of this without having to close a bank account. So their billing/service needs some work for sure.Overall I would recommend these cameras.

From this two pack the one that works is great. Getting the other one to work...
The seller appears to be the manufacturer. The manufacturer has no customer service or even a valid presence other than an overseas chat service. As you can see from the title, one of the cameras in this two pack works fine. The second one does not. Five chats, no result. After setting up these cameras, both of them gave a message that firmware was being downloaded and that it would take 5 to 10 minutes for that to occur. After that, both cameras were tested at home and appeared to be working. However, when I took them out to the field, one worked fine, the other one did not. The problem appeared to be that it was downloading the firmware at least according to chat (remember, it had already completed the download at home and the camera was functioning). You can't download the firmware remotely anymore so you have to connect it to your computer and download the software. So I did that. It looked like it worked. I went out to the field again and turned it on. Guess what, downloading firmware. I left it in the field the second time just in case it would finish (90 percent signal at the time) and got back on chat when I got home. I was assured that firmware was downloading and that the camera would be fine. I was also told that if the firmware did not finish downloading by the time I got up this morning that the camera was defective. Guess what? Still downloading at 4:45 A.m.. get back on chat, I have the camera with me, have to download the firmware again. Connected to the PC. Now it won't even connect. I tried the telephone number on the manufacturer's website. It goes to dead air. Not so much as a ring. I tried several times so it wasn't a one-off. I come to the Amazon site and use the phone number (different one ) posted under the seller's information here. That phone number goes to some kind of a sweepstakes entity and has nothing to do with spypoint. All they had to do at spypoint on chat was admit that there was something wrong with one of the cameras and replace it. I would have no problem returning the defective camera. Instead, my guess is they Just wanted to Wear me down with circular actions to the point I would give up.Something I want to mention in one of the chats is that I was told that unless they went through, all of the troubleshooting steps, an exchange was not possible nor was a refund. Amazon, on the other hand is refunding me as soon as I return both cameras and they provided me with the necessary return code.Things happen, sometimes a product is effective. I was more than willing to keep the good one and exchange the bad one. Rather than having customer service and standing behind its product, spypoint is going to send you to an overseas chat center where the representatives are instructed just to string you along. That they don't have an actual working telephone number says that the company itself is questionable. The working camera gets five stars. That there is no support other than parroting the instruction manual and the lack of a valid telephone number is why this is one star.
