I WANT ONE OF THOSE RIFLES. Only build it yourself kits are available and it takes more skill than I think I have. I want a nock Naval Volley Gun too.

Very well researched book. The author's have done a service to the community by putting this book together and getting it out into the market. My primary area of interest is the design and use of this rifle. I have wanted one for years and after reading this book, I will order my parts kit and build my own working Ferguson. Really appreciated the "tip's" for live firing and the tactical formation of Ferguson's unit. Very specialized area of research but this book is necessary for those who want to use a Ferguson in the 21'st century

So interesting on so many levels: "Every Insult and Indignity" is the kind of book I wish we'd had in school. Historical fact, though carefully researched and accurate, is rendered with an enthusiasm that makes it almost feel like story time around the campfire. And it proves by example how modern views of history are not necessarily accurate UNLESS perceived through careful research to find important facts that can make all the difference.Anyone who likes history will thoroughly enjoy!

This book is a wealth of knowledge about Major Patrick Ferguson and the rifle that bore his name. Well worth the read!

It was a very informative book. I collect personal memoirs from the American Revolution. Interested at present of the Loyalists in what was a civil war. The book gives a glimpse of it.
