Absolute beast from DJI!
I always loved DJI products and when I was looking for a battery bank for my camper van, I thought I’d give the Power 1000 a shot. I use this power bank along with the 1kw super fast car charger, wireless dongle, and the MPPT solar controller and everything works excellent. The power bank is nice and portable and ridiculously powerful with a fantastic capacity. The build quality is everything I’ve come to expect from DJI and using it is easy and makes camping so much easier. I cannot recommend this enough, along with all the SDC accessories, for your power needs. Some might say the SDC ports and dongles are an inconvenience, but I use these ports the most often and love this innovative idea.

Great generator at a very competitive price.
This portable generator is quiet, efficient and powerful. I purchased the modal that came with a solar panel and it is solid material and seems more sturdy than I’d expected. I ended up purchasing the non included solar panel adapter so I can eventually hook up more solar panels for faster charging. The instructions are easy enough where you can use it right out of the box

So far so good, my garage freezer works well. No built in connectivity.
Update 020625My issue was resolved, freezer works again as expected.Update 011725It is stopped working this week and cut off power to our freezer. It shows Err 30,31,32,33,37,62 , beeps none stop.I contacted tech DJI support and uploaded logs to them, took a few hours to download the log from DJI 1000 over type-C.So far I've waited for DJI tech to come back to me, while DJI 1000 is unusable.I'll update as I have anything. This is sturdy built power station. My primary use case is for garage freezer to keep it running while any power outages. This DJI 1000 has UPS feature that also has 2 modes, auto shut-off power upon 30 min idle and constant power. For my Use Case I set the continues power, as my freezer idles 2H-3H and runs 2H-3H cycles. This power station has enough max surge power 2200W peak to accommodate freezer compressor start, while other UPS and other power station just shutdown from overload at freezer start time.It has no issue to power large home refrigerator as well. So, I'm ready for an power outage.Yes, its larger and heavier vs Jackery 1000 v2, but I don't need to move it, so isn't issue for me.It has good pure sine wave based on my Oscilloscope readings. My main cons is about missing built-in BT / WiFi connectivity, so you have to order extra $25 dongle for it, and no USB connectivity to PC for auto shutdown as result 1 star off.

Great Solar Generator but Could be Better
Overall, great solar generator. Quiet, powerful, portable, capable. But you should know that you CANNOT charge the generator from your vehicle's 110v AC outlet (inverter)! The outlet will 'fault' because the minimum voltage to charge the DJI Power 1000 via AC is 600w, and most vehicle's with 110v AC outlets only supply 400w max. The exception to this is if your vehicle has an upgraded 110v power supply system (as may be the case with commercial trucks or package upgrades). DJI does sell a 12v cigarette plug adapter to SDC cable, capable of 100w charging of the Power 1000 unit...but...really really? A portable generator in 2025, marketed as a 'get-away-from-it-all' generator incapable to being charged via vehicle AC at a lower wattage? Just seems like they missed an opportunity here.

Djii quality, higher output then most, high speed USB-C ports
This occasionally goes on sale ($379 at the time of writing), and is hard to beat for the price. The build quality is solid and will hold up to 200lbs if you need to stack items on top. DJii also has a carrying case ($99) that can be added on. The carrying case is really well designed and includes openings for all of the ports, ventilation, and pockets to hold extra cables. The inverter itself will sustain up to 2,200 watts, which is higher then most inverters around the same price point. 2,200 watts is enough to run most household appliances - toaster oven, microwave, water kettles, refrigerator, etc.. while the USB-A and USB-C ports come in handy for charging electronics. Yes, it uses proprietary ports and cables for solar, car charging, drones, etc...but for home use, it's not a deal breaker.

You can’t go wrong with DJI
Great power, battery last long (if you’re using it to charge smart devices) and it’s a great size. It’s a little heavy though, but works awesome.

DJI wasn’t reliable
I bought this in January 2025. Tested the AC outlet using a 450w heater and it was showing correct on the digital screen. Unplugged the heater and screen was showing 98 % left. I charged it up to a 100 % and didn’t use it for 2.5 months. Planned a three day much needed getaway with my wife. We stopped and bought groceries and a new 1200 watt griddle. Set up camp and a plugged the griddle up to it and set the temperature to 800 watts push the ac button to the on position and griddle started heating up. The DJI power station was sitting in the back of my jeep. I looked at the screen and it showed in was using 835 watts. My wife put two hamburger patties on the griddle and about 1 minute after starting the griddle the DJI started popping and snapping inside. It was loud. I thought it was about to explode and set my jeep on fire. The DJI shut off and I immediately removed it from the Jeep. There was a burning smell coming from the vent on the side. I waited a couple minutes and powered it back on and all lights and screen came on like it supposed to. Push the AC power button and indicator lights came on. So I plugged the griddle back up and it has no power coming out of the power station. Plugged in our coffee pot and it didn’t work either. Totally ruined our camping trip. We had all this food to cook and no way to cook it. We plugged in cellphone charger to the usb ports and they worked fine all night. Packed up next morning and went home :(
