NICE BUILT BIKE STAND FOR YOUR SHOP OR TRAVELING: FABRICATE A SEAL 3 X 3 PLATE 4 BOLTS. DONE!
NICE BUILT BIKE STAND FOR YOUR SHOP OR TRAVELING: FABRICATE A SEAL 3 X 3 PLATE 4 BOLTS. DONE!Ironically, I just bought two bike stands from this company, the other being your typical V-shaped bike stand you can take anywhere! Both are great, and I’ll focus mainly on the repair stand for this review. One thing I like about this stand-out-of-the-boxe is how solid it is in terms of weight and construction, and the overall look is all Matt black, which looks fantastic!Another feature I like is the fact that you have a small area to put Allen wrenches and just anything in general because typically when you buy a stand, this isn’t an external option that they want to charge you $15-$20The other aspect is the extension rod for your bike, which is crucial so your bike doesn’t move around in the stand. It is an excellent option, depending on how you like to work on your bike. The only downside to this stand is that it DOES NOT have a steel plate for the bottom; you can go to any hardware store or scrap metal, buy a one x1 foot or 2 x 3‘ chuck of scrap steel, drill four holes into it, and bolted to the ground. The leading tool manufacturer with a stand slimmer charges $300 for that sheet of steel.I’m sure you can go to your local hardware store for steel that is already pre-fabricated in sheets, and all you have to do is attach the bolts. I recommend you have a counter bolt from the opposite side, which a high-end drill can create. I suggest using a diamond bit because it is still challenging to drill through.Overall, I like how I handle my bike, which is a carbon fiber road bike, and I will give a couple of tips for inserting a carbon fiber road bike into the jaws.First, you want to use a towel or a microfiber towel and wrap it around the carbon fiber, depending on its thickness.I recommend a couple of layers because you want to avoid overtightening the carbon, essentially cracking it.If you micro-crack carbon 99% of the time, you cannot see it unless you hear something when you’re tightening it up, so be very, very careful not to tighten the jaw.Having a TREK MADONE, you do not have round parts of the upper shaft, or the sea post is a triangle post, it’s slightly different. Every carbon fiber bike will be different as far as the steel bikes and the aluminum. I wouldn’t even worry about it.Overall, the top feature is that they include a small tray for tools, which is nice. It’s adjustable, matches, and has an adjustable pole, which I didn’t even know they created for bike stands.Suppose you’re looking for an excellent stand for your area or potentially traveling. In that case, if you’re going on a long trip, once you create your sheet of solid steel or aluminum for the bottom, you will have a great bike stand that you can travel with anywhere.Depending on the manufacturer, these types of stands can range from 75 to several hundred dollars.I honestly feel that you’re paying for the name brand because most of these bikes are essentially the same thing produced in potentially the same factory in China.I’ll post a picture of my bike below.

Good bike stand--but needs to be screwed into the floor
I got this for my son, who worked in bike shops when he was in college and is an avid biker. It works great; however, we had to get pretty creative to make it stable in his apartment (because we couldn't drill into the floor as instructed). Our solution was a fairly wide base made of some old 4 by 4's I had (and we added rubber on the back). Bike clamps in easily and makes working on bikes easy.

Back-Saving Maintenance Made Easy!
As a proud owner of two giant mountain bikes, I used to dread maintenance day. Fumbling with makeshift stands made of wood or chairs was a real pain. Thankfully, the CHEPARK Bike Repair Stand has completely changed the game! Here's why I love it:No More DIY Stands: This stand eliminates the need for those precarious wood or chair setups. Now, I can have my bike securely positioned at a comfortable height for proper maintenance.Easy Assembly & Lightweight Design: Setting up the stand was a breeze. It's surprisingly lightweight, making it easy to move around my garage or workspace. But don't let the weight fool you – this stand feels very sturdy and secure.Back-Friendly Maintenance: The best part? I can finally say goodbye to backaches during maintenance! The stand allows me to work in a comfortable, upright position, saving my back from strain.Overall:The CHEPARK Bike Repair Stand is a lifesaver for any cyclist who maintains their own bikes. It's easy to use, lightweight yet sturdy, and makes maintenance a breeze on my back. I highly recommend it! This is a definite 5 out of 5 stars!

Not for the Pro
I always wanted one of these as a hobbyist. Workingon my bike while it's sitting on the ground has been areal pain. When I got the chance to review this I jumpedat it. First impression is this is for the hobbyist that likesto work on their own bicycle. Not for the pro that usesit every day to service bikes for others. There is a lotof plastic. The rubber pads on the jaws feel a bit hard. Seemslike they could scratch the finish of the paint but, Ican fix that by rapping the bike with a soft rubber pad. They did include anchor bolts if you want to mountit on concrete. I, however, am making a custom mountso I can put it away when not in use.

Good Quality, Very Reasonably Priced
Unfortunately, a detailed review I had written - and a host of photos- failed to download so I'm only providing a brief review now.I worked in the cycling industry on and off for 20 years. I have repaired bikes using traditional (very heavy) shop stands, own a costly portable stand, and have tried several "consumer" stands that retail in the $100 range. The CHEPARK Bike Repair Floor Stand is a very good stand at a very reasonable price. The stand is moderately strong, easy to set up, adjust, and use. Also included is a lever bar that attaches to the stand and handlebar to keep the handlebar and front wheel from turning while working on your bike. While I didn't care much for the few other stands I've tried in the $100 range, I do like the CHEPARK Repair Stand and would readily recommend it to others.

Good Repair Stand
I have been needing a bike repair stand for years, always putting my bike upside down on a table for adjustments and repairs. I was super excited to find this one, but in my haste to order it I didn't realize it was floor mounted and isn't freestanding. That was completely my mistake though, and not a problem because I made my own floor stand that works perfectly. This stand is easy to use. The only issue I have is that the clamping mechanism is made of plastic, and while it seems heavy duty, I can't speak with any confidence about it's durability. I also wish it had some kind of rubber or padding for the clamp as it will eventually damage the finish on my bike frame. Also not a problem as I just wrap a cloth around it. Overall, this is a good value for a bike repair stand, if you're ok with floor mounting it or fabricating your own legs for it. Recommended.
