The design is sick - love the platform, gladiator-style zip-up look. I have tiny ankles and need a larger sandal to balance me out. They broke in after 3 wears, and are comfortable. The color is an odd one though - it's like a stone color with a very slightly mint tone. I think i like it better than white, because it's less bright and blends in better with most of my clothes. I got them on sale, and I think it was a good deal for Docs.

These are so perfect for ladies with small ankles. I have spent years buying gladiator style sandals, and they always end up, flopping around on my heel and my ankle and causing blisters. These fit perfect around my ankles and are adjustable for just the right fit. They are such high-quality and the hardware is absolutely beautiful in this monochromatic color that matches great with the blackIf you are debating… Just get them!!!

I read the reviews before buying and was concerned about fit, or that I might get one shoe tighter than the other. Very pleased to say the sandals I received fit great. I wore them for two days before a cruise and then 7 days straight on the cruise. I only had two small rub spots on my right foot that were barely sore and just a tad red. These shoes will not fit if you have a thick ankles. My ankles have always been on the smaller side so had no problem zipping them up. I got so many compliments about these sandals. People asking what brand and how nice/cool they are. I live in Florida so these are going to get wore a lot. These sandals look nice with a dress or shorts. They have good ankle support and soles are non-slip.

These shoes were great! But upon my second wear after zipping and walking around the farmer market I noticed that one of the top straps had completely separated. This is not the quality I come to expect from Dr. Martin and I would like to either have these refunded or replaced. I am used to wearing my doc sandals hundreds of times! This is ridiculous!

These sandals are truly a beauty. One thing, that made me unhappy was how the leather scratched the top of my toes the first couple wears. Well, beauty hurts i guess. But, they were nothing compared to the recent Dr. Marten boots I ordered that had demolish my foot! I don't know why but those 200$ boots caused me to get a blister/numbness of my toes . They were my size just like these sandals I wear 7 in women. I had immediately returned those Dr marten boots but these I had a hard time giving in to return bc they're so beautiful. I stuff them with tissue to loosen the toe area so far it has worked ; the zipper was impossible to Zip, so I poured two droplets of cooking grease and they zipped rrrrriiiiggghhhhttt uupp.

First let me start by saying my first order from Amazon did not show up (refund). My second order came with a faulty right shoe that had an unbearable cracking noise every time I stepped down (refund). I finally ended up purchasing them in store because I loved the look so much.I’ve worn these shoes for several months now and they are just NOT breaking in. There are some quality issues with the stitching that rub my feet in an uncomfortable way (I ended up putting black electrical tape inside the shoe to keep the stitching from rubbing my toes). I still get blisters on my heels from an hour of walking.That being said, I get TONS of compliments on these shoes when I wear them. The look is enough for me to keep them and I just keep hoping they’ll break in eventually! If you’re willing to compromise being comfortable for the style, it’s worth the purchase. I think they are overpriced for the amount of faults I’ve found… perhaps I’ll give an update in a few months to state whether or not they’ve broken in.UPDATE: I’ve had this pair since April. It is almost August and they are FINALLY breaking in! I I wore them last week to an all day music festival, and while I did get a little rubbing on the back of my heel, I was able to wear and walk in them comfortably all day. Be patient, they will eventually break in :)

In true Doc Martens fashion these are incredibly comfortable! I’ve seen other versions where it looks like a softer material but this one is a firm leather material and it’s really nice!! Fits perfectly but my recommendation if you’ve never worn Doc Martens since they do not come in half sizes head to a store before purchasing it online that way you can at least try out the style you want first. Amazon has these shoes significantly cheaper than the retail store.
