Fantastic system can't wait to explore more
I am a(n aspiring) first time GM looking at a lot of different game systems and got this book since it looked like it had really fun mechanics. I can agree with another reviewer that this book is very accessible for new GMs and I heavily disagree with another that the writing is infantilizing at all. If something seems too simple or unnecessary to the reader, all passages leave wide room for customization/"take what you will" and it's very easy to skip over them and get to the rules of gameplay should you so desire :) Personally as a horror enthusiast, I find the inclusions on how to manage a table where certain content may not be for everyone and how to navigate that in real playtime to make sure everyone is having fun, are comfortable, and agreed, is incredibly helpful and I can't wait to use it.On the other side, the book itself is great, it's easily understandable, and the artwork and charts for gameplay are so cool and stylistically fitting. This is a perfect addition for anyone looking to try new game systems or integrate them into their own homebrews.

A great rules light system with a familiar genre
Full disclosure: I was a Kickstarter backer for this edition. I must say I was not disappointed. Kids on Bikes is a great game with an easy to understand rules system. It's easily hackable (can be converted to other settings or house ruled.) the artwork is beautiful, the layout is logical, and print quality is top notch. It's compact size makes it easy to carry along unlike some other RPGs.While there is a lot of how to run a cooperative story game, I'm going to disagree with another commenter about it treating you like a child. Simply put it has useful tips for the new GM who HASN'T been playing for 40 years, and will make them a better GM going forward.

Honestly, just get Monster of the Week
As a 40 year old who has played any number of tabletop games, the writing in this makes me feel infantilized. If it's meant to be for children who have never played a game before? Absolutely, but if it is intended for adults or people who have ever interacted on a social level, it comes off as patronizing.
