Smells horrible!
These weights have cheaply made plastic and they smell horrible. I washed them with hot soapy water and laid them in the sun and even sprayed essential oil on them and they still have my home filled with chemical fumes. It’s giving me headaches. I just need to get rid of them.

After going through other products, resale sites, etc. i kept coming back here and so glad i did! It is just what i needed. And no, doesn’t have a bad smell? Only tough thing is it didn’t come with instructions, so i’m thankful my boyfriend put it together LOL

Solid value, comfortable design.
Ordered a single 30lb dumbell just10 days ago, received today. I was happy to have found it on stock, happier yet to get such a good price with free shipping. The item is as good as it looks, well-balanced, the grip comfortably scored and nothing loose. Totally satisfied. Can't yet vouch for durability since it just arrived, but how perishable can a dumbell be!

Rubber on weights smells horrible
my weights are great except for the odor caused by the oil on the rubber part of the weights. I had to clean this off and leave them outside to air out. hopefully the smell will go away.

These are some big boys! Heavy duty with old school look and craftsmanship. Bought these as a gift for my workout crazed boyfriend. Great deal on a gift he’s super satisfied with!! He uses them every evening so safe to say he’s pumped on receiving these.

Stinky Rubber Smell!
The weights themselves are really good, the assembly of the rack was simple, and they get the job done. The issue is the smell. I have had them for 30 days now, and still smell rubber when I come near them. In fact they are in a small room at the back of the house that is usually shut off. The smell when I walk into the room is pungent. I do have the air conditioning set to circulate several times throughout the day, so I know it's not stale air. It is truly that these dumbbells stink. I looked online and found several ways to reduce the smell. I will try those and then repost my review. If you're putting these in the garage, it's probably no big deal as you have other smells like that too. However this is in the corner of a large guest room and before company comes, I have to move the weights outside.
