A serving of this Andrographis of 2 capsules is 1000mg, or 500mg/capsule. I had no problems taking these daily, and would order them again.

If you really want a good dose of andrographis extract this seems like it will be a good choice.Each capsules weighs on average 700mg and according to the nutrition label contains 500mg of andrographis extract. The remaining 200mg would be made up of the capsule as well as other ingredients like hypromellose, maltodextrin, rice floru and vegetable stearic acid.This is a vegan friendly supplement which may also be of interest to some people.The flavor of the extract powder is incredibly bitter and a bit overwhelming. This is not something i would willingly consume without a capsule but it does seem to indicate that the ingredients are strong and of high potency.

Update:Took a pause and don't know if I will continue taking.It is just too strong on the stomach even if taken with a meal. Maybe the formulation needs to include other herbs.*****************************The bottle comes with a cap seal and another seal after the cap is removed.The andrographis comes in a transparent celulose capsules. There is a woody smell to it. I usually remove the powder from the capsule onto a spoon, swallow with water. It has a strong bitter taste. Otherwise swallow the capsule.I like that that it says:* triple tested but they don't mention the facility,* GMP certified facility is also good (but this can be a mfg facility anywhere inside or outside the US, the listing says its assembled in the US with worldwide ingredients... makes sense since andrographis is from asia, but if you are saying that in the listing then I would prefer it was actually printed on the bottle that is assembled in USA with worldwide ingredients)* there is a 1-800 number on the bottle* when you go to the website, they list the doctors involved with their products.Apparently, each supplement is registered with a different company. This one says distributed by Healthy Directions, Bethesda, MD.As to the andrographis itself, I would have to keep using for several weeks before giving an assessment on that.

This is also a substance used in Ancient Asian medicine. I also take prescription, traditional, prescribed medicine. I want to try some of these natural and other nontraditional methods. I was advised by the doctor not to mix the two. However, my plan is to give natural products a try. My method is to take traditional medicines on a twelve-hour basis. Then take natural medicine on the in-between 6 hours basis. I will need to get up during the night to take the natural medicines but I am awake periodically during the night.These natural medicines are mostly unregulated. So, I look for supplements and vitamins that are GMP (General Manufacturing Procedure) accredited. I also check for third party testing.
