Informative, and pretty good recipes. Not my favorite cookbook, though.
This book is pretty good. It has a lot of helpful information in it, and some of the recipes are extremely helpful. I particularly liked the Nomato recipes, and I use them often. I would exercise caution with some of these recipes. Maybe my IC is extremely sensitive, but there are some items that are called for that I could never tolerate in a million years, like root beer or other processed, preservative laden foods. I have to cook completely from scratch, so I suppose I expected more recipes like that.

Not what I needed.
Too many of the recipes aren't easy to follow or aren't IC friendly.

Not very helpful
Many of the recipes contain ingredients that cause flares, with a note beside them; (if tolerated).

Great for IC
There are some great IC recipes in this book. The drinks are especially interesting and a nice change over just water all the time.

Don't expect to be dazzled.
Expected pictures and such. Looks like the recipes were copy and pasted off the internet. But they are real recipes. Just seems like it was done on the cheap. Good collection of ideas though.

This book is very helpful if you are looking for ...
This book is very helpful if you are looking for advise on trying different foods that may or may not be compatible with IC. The recopies were a little disappointing to me... but that's mostly because the IC syndrome is so disappointing. When there aren't alot of foods you can eat... There aren't alot of recopies available.
