Had I known about these before I ordered them, I'd have never lost any of my remotes. Great product to have recommended to everybody. Easy installation and does the job.

Very cool product. I was always losing track of the smaller fire controllers. This not only is magnetic but has a dock it can hold in as well.

So good I ordered another package. Magnets will hold securely and very easy to 'install' and use. Never lose a remote again AND you can put them wherever you need them. If you have a steel surface you don't need the cradle - however the cradle is very sturdy and sized correctly for most applications. Works well.

In the quest to organize the floating remotes in my newly constructed shop, I turned to the Magnetic Remote Control Holder, hoping it would bring order and convenience. This product promised a sleek, magnetic solution for securing TV, fan, and air conditioner remotes, which seemed like the perfect fix for my setup. Upon receiving the package, the first hiccup occurred: the color mismatch. Despite specifically ordering the set in white to match the aesthetic of my all-white shop, I received black holders. This color issue appears to be a common concern among customers, and while it's a minor aesthetic gripe, it was a disappointing start, given the importance of the product blending seamlessly into its environment. The magnetic holders themselves are impressively designed. The magnet provides a strong, albeit slightly redundant, grip due to the natural locking shape of the attachment to the remote. This design ensures the remotes stay securely in place, which is a plus. The primary challenge arose with the compatibility with Roku remotes, which were the main remotes I intended to use with this system. Roku remotes feature a rounded back, complicating the attachment process as the holder's piece doesn't contour well to such shapes. Although the adhesive backing is of high quality—gel-like and capable of conforming to slight curves and textured surfaces—the curvature of the Roku remotes proved too pronounced for a secure attachment on the back. The front of the Roku remote, already occupied by buttons and design elements, offered no viable alternative for placement. Fortuitously, a spare remote with a slightly flatter surface provided a solution. After syncing this upgraded remote to the TV, attaching the magnetic tab became straightforward. For best alignment, I found it helpful to leave the tab in the holder during installation. The holder was then mounted onto the side of a desk post and a powder-coated tool cabinet in my shop, adhering flawlessly despite the initial color disappointment. This Magnetic Remote Control Holder is indeed a slick and innovative solution for keeping remotes organized and easily accessible. However, the color discrepancy and the specific compatibility challenges with certain remote designs, such as those for Roku devices, necessitate a reduction in rating. Taking these factors into account, I award this product a solid 4-star rating. It stands as an excellent option for those whose remote shapes and décor preferences align with the product's design and available colors.

Item exactly as described and works perfectly. It’s important to note the adhesive on these isn’t command strips, so anything you stick these to will be semi permanent. I thought about removing all the adhesive and using command strips, but because we don’t plan to relocate the remotes I used them as they are. Sticks well to wall and remote and the magnet feature is super handy to assist in placing the remote back.

These are not as well made as those I bought a few years ago. The double stick tape does not adhere as well..

I purchased this to secure or adjustable bed remotes where we could easily reach them. I then also used it to mount the TV remotes so that we stopped losing them. The adhesive on both the receiver and the peg were excellent. We cleaned the area with some rubbing alcohol, let it dry, then applied the adhesive backing and held it into place for about two minutes. Once this was accomplished, we have not had a single failure of the adhesive. There is a magnet in the peg and receiver that holds the remote in place once it is settled into its cradle. This allows you to bump into it and not knock it off easily. I have attached some photos so you can see how we utilized them. You can also see that there is a slight angle/curvature to the back of the remote. I could see, though, if you have a significant curvature to your remote that you may have to make some modifications to make the adhesive stick properly. I would strongly recommend these to anyone looking for a way to mount the remotes or similar items.

my use-case may not be common, but we have a portable tv on a cart so we can move it from room to room where there's no TV or an extra TV during football season. We don't want to misplace the remote while not in use so i've used this product to secure the remote to the back of the TV. i could see sticking this near a tv to hang the remote nearby to keep it out of reach of kids and not just sitting on a surface when not in use. The adhesive on both parts is great and stays in place. it also has a magnetic connection to keep it from jumping out of the catch groove. would highly recommend.
